Decker ran off the bench without helmet to jump into the TD celebration.
The announcer said if he had been on the field, it would've been flagged as a group celebration; but because he was on the sidelines during the play, it doesn't get flagged.

This makes no sense to me.

Does this mean that a team can have all its backups (or whoever isn't in that play), run to the endzone after a TD, and do a choreographed dance for 2 minutes, and not get penalized?

I thought the same thing. If that actually is the rule it makes no sense...

Its a loophole in the rules, expect it to be closed next year :D

everything's legal except for the choreographed dance

If you ask the Donkey fans, they say all of the calls went the Ravens way. http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=109760

So, if I'm reading between the lines correctly, I assume you're not a huge fan of NFL fans from the city of Denver?

correct..also I am no fan of the New York Jets

I read 3-4 threads and they're blaming everyone but the forehead even after he admitted to calling an audible on 3rd and 7, they remind me of Jets fans.:bricks:

Was almost a bizarre as the FG kicker coming out on the field and kicking one before his Game winning kick...and all the Refs just standing there saying nothing...ya know?

I don't know how that's not a penalty, other than the referee being a complete moron and/or afraid of not pleasing Manning.
