All-Pro Team headlined by Adrian Peterson, J.J. Watt - NFL.com

Yeah, let's not put the QB who led the 3rd greatest offense in NFL history while the unit was never healthy at one point in the season, let's put Aaron Rodgers, leading his near 8ppg worse 27.1 ppg offense with stat padding at the goalline.

Also, congrats to Vince Wilfork for making 1st-team All-pro at DT. Mankins also made the 2nd- team all pro at G.

One month til #4, haters.

Uh, oh! This All-Pro snub could NOT have come at a better time for our 6th round draft pick!

That said, Manning & Rogers are excellent representatives.

I used to get annoyed by this stuff, but it seems that when TB12 doesn't get all the ribbons and pats on the back for the regular season that he winds up with the shiniest and most important reward of all!

Pats were close to shut out. Wilfork made it as a starter, Mankins as a backup, which is silly.

IMHO Mayo and McCourty were deserving. Ridley was close. Gronk would have been a shoo-in except for injury. Vollmer and Jones were dominant before their injuries, and would have gotten consideration.

Man, is Giselle gonna be wicked pissed, or what?

Agreed. Mayo got snubbed IMO. Welker's a stud, but I can't argue, the top 4 WRs were all amazing. I'm glad Alfred Morris and Richard Sherman got their due too.

How about some recognition for Big Vince on making the All Pro squad? I think that deserves a thread more than another BRADY WUZ SNUBBED!!!! thread. :D

Richard Sherman? Good on the field, but questionable on PED use and a first-class arsehole. The only thing I was glad for was him getting deservedly smacked by Williams after the Skins game.

The most wierd thing is that Mankins was voted for. He hasn't had a good season. I think injuries have haunted him this season, hopefully he will be his old self next year.

We agree with you Bianca, Big Vince is Da Bomb!
How's the roomba workin' out for ya?

Personally, I think Mankins' inclusion is worse than Brady's exclusion. Mankins got in on reputation alone. With Brady, you can make an argument for Manning and Rodgers over him.

I aalso agree with the sentiment that Mayo was a bigger snub.

This is what Brady is far and away the most successful regular season QB in the modern era, and it ain't even close.

Perhaps he is too boring and should buy a Pizza franchise of do stupid car insurance ads....

Rogers .666 winning %, Manning .668, Brady .777.

Manning of course did have more wins this season.

This is actually really great news. Objectively silly things like pro-bowl "snubs" do really seem to motivate guys like Brady, who, to be honest, has maybe not been his top-flight self in the playoffs as of late.

This is awesome.

I'm still trying to figure out why this snub pisses me off, when it really shouldn't. I don't think its so much that he didn't make the team, but how STUPID are the voters who selected Manning so overwhelmingly. I can't make the numbers and situations fit. Well I guess they don't call them mediots for nothing.

The other comments -

1. Mankins has had his worst year as a pro (not surprising coming off an ACL, and all the injuries). His inclusion shows how flawed the system is.

2. BB JR. had a great year. His best year as a matter of fact, but you can't hate the guys they picked at OLB

3. I'm thrilled London Fletcher was selected. Its the kind of selection that gives me hope. Ray Lewis gets all the accolades but its London Fletcher who keeps piling up the stats. They are both 37, but Fletcher is by far the better LB at this point.....and he might have always been the better LB, just without the great PR guy.

4. Gronk missed more than a third of the season and STILL wound up with more TDs than any TE in the league. Is STILL a better blocker than Witten and Gonsalez, and is STILL not on the team. Oops what hope I had in the process has just been taken away.

Frankly, it shows the voters are lazy. They aren't coaches, they aren't players, they don't have other jobs.

They should look at things like PPG, rushing TDs, and they should deemphasize things such as pass incompletions (which kills Brady) and look at how significant an incompletion is when you're converting 3rd downs at a greater than 50% rate. Manning and Rodgers are in the 30%+ range.

The players see this I think as maybe motivation, ok I didn't make it but if the team takes it day by day, focuses on the task in front of them they have the opportunity to win a Super Bowl.

TFB's going to be too busy to play anyway........

Fletcher has been criminally underrated his entire career, but let's not be ridiculous.
