An amazing stat.. If the broncos and patriots win, that will clinch the 10th straight year of Brady, manning, or Big Ben representing the afc..

2003- Brady
2004- Brady
2005- Big Ben
2006- Manning
2007- Brady
2008- Big Ben
2009- manning
2010- Big Ben
2011- Brady
2012- Brady??

Unreal, isn't it? Lucky we are to be in this era of TB12 and BB. Hope Brady can put himself down as a six time starter in the big game come February.

Yep, always been someone to root for or against in the SB over the last decade or so :D

Yeah, I never thought about this! It's been TEN years since the last time I watched a Super Bowl without a gigantic rooting interest. Whether it was rooting for the Pats or praying for a Colts/Steelers loss, I haven't seen a SB since 2002 when I just casually enjoyed watching a Super Bowl. That's amazing!

I swear that Arizona loss to Pitt was almost as heartbreaking as SB42. Well, OK, not close, but what a crappy feeling. Matched on the other side by Peyton's pick 6 and loss to the Saints. That was a good night.

I remember after the 2009 AFCCG, a particular Colts troll on here named Cartwright who hated my guts and threatened me over PM before, PM'ed me and started talking a bunch of **** about how we were done, the Colts were going all the way, etc. I held off on reporting him to Ian and instead responded that the Colts had trouble with Sanchez and wished him luck against Brees. Immediately after the Super Bowl, I sent him the biggest troll PM that I have ever typed out in my life, THEN reported him.

EDIT: Hold on, let me see if I can find the PM and ensuing response just for comedy purposes.

Hard to believe that Rich Gannon and Trent Dilfer/Tony Banks filled out the full AFC millenium sweep of the 2000s

Found it. Surprised to see Cartwright is actually still a member...

Uh, congrats. It really doesn't bother me that the Colts won. I rooted for them. However, I think we'll be back next year. Even if we aren't, then you should enjoy the success while it lasts because the Colts are definitely next.

P.S.- Your defense got torched by Sanchez. Good luck in the Super Bowl against Brees and company...

I understand your sentiments, but something tells me you had a strong rooting interest against the Raiders following their continued cries after the Tuck Rule.

I think if it turns out this way a better way to put it is that Brady has been to half the SBs in the past decade, and Roth and Manning have shared the other half.
