Some I like, some I don't and some are sarcastic
24. New England (from Seattle)- Anthony Spencer, DE/LB, Purdue
28. New England (12-4)- Brandon Meriweather, CB/FS, Miami-Fl

24. New England Patriots - Reggie Nelson, S Florida
The Patriots are extremly thin at LB due to age and injury and they also
need CB help although they can address that need with their many
other draft picks (star-in-the-making A. Samuel only cost them a fourth-rounder).
However, R. Harrison is at the end of his career and coincidently
Nelson is the best available player. He will add an instant spark to a depleted secondary.
he prototypical CB at 6'1" 200 lbs. with speed and coverage skills to go with it,
so he can help fill that gaping hole in the Saints' secondary.
28. New England Patriots - Sidney Rice, WR South Carolina
Caldwell dropping passes throughout the season and post-season may have
cost the Patriots another Super Bowl trip. Rice may not be ready to start from
day 1, but he is an amazing physical talent and by season's end will develop into their best receiver, just in time for the playoffs.

24.
New England Patriots McCauley, Marcus, CB Fresno State
The Patriots under Belicik have always had good CBs, starting with Law
and now Samuels. Unfortunately ,Law became a FA and left for the Jets,
could Samuels do the same. Many teams would love to land a player like
Samuels and plenty have the money to do it. We all know Pats will not cough up the maximum amount of money like Deion Branch. So what's beliciks solution? Draft another outstanding CB. McCauley is a ball hawk and a great tackler. Side Note: 2nd String CB Randall Gay is also a FA.
28.
New England Patriots
***Brandon Siler, O/ILB, FLordia*** The Patriots LBs are againg. Bruschis name did not come up once in the 2nd half of the Colt game. They need to bring in young Siler he shows alot of potential. He is also one of the greatest collge leaders I have ever seen. The Patriots are all about leaders as they probably have 10 of them. Belicik loves players like this. He will give up an arm for Siler

24 New England Patriots: Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
An insurance policy just in case Asante Samuel leaves via free agency.
Aaron Ross has seen his draft stock rise thanks to a great Senior Bowl week
28 New England Patriots: Dwayne Bowe, WR, LSU
I guess the Patriots got what they deserve. If they would have just paid
Deion Branch his money, Reche Caldwell wouldn't have been on the
field that often

24 New England (from Sea) - Leon Hall, CB, Michigan
NE hopes they get just a portion of what they landed with the
last Michigan corner they drafted.
28New England - Buster Davis, LB, Florida St.
Height is a concern, but can really clog running lanes and find the football.
