Did anyone get any? I was there right at 10:00 am, put in two for best available and came up blank. I then tried for a single and was also closed out.

Stupid question, but are stubhub tickets legit?

In my experience Stubhub tickets are legit, but not really a P2P service the way they bill themselves. Their inventory is usually exactly the same as other brokers, but with higher fees than most.

Yikes - thanks for the heads up. I thought the prices were reasonable, but I didn't realize stubhub tacks on an extra $15 or so per ticket for a service charge. Other than stubhub or aceticket, does anyone know of other legit sources?

They are all priced about the same, so don't expect savings from one that you won't find at another. The only way you find cheaper tickets at another site is by finding one with smaller fees (like ebay). How do I know this?

My name is Darrone and I'm a recovering scalper. (Hi Darrone). The tickets are stubhub, tickets.com, vivid seats, ticket liquidator, and frequently ebay, are all the same tickets, posted almost entirely by the same people.

You're best option for cheap is probably ebay. That, or waiting till the night before/day of for tickets.

Services like Ebay and Craigslist are indeed the best route to a bargain, but they also increase your chances of getting scammed and missing the game.

FWIW I once did a fee breakdown for a bunch of brokers and Ace came out pretty well.

stubhub is legit...craigslist i would never buy tickets..never. Heard of many scams of tickets. Pay more on ebay or stubhub

No tickets. I bet they releases about 50 tickets and that was it. if you are an average joe..it's impossible to get pats tickets...unless you pay big $$ on stubhub

i just bought my tix on stub hub...313 row 4 for a decent price.

That's unfortunately pretty much the going rate for ticketmaster fees anymore too.

I went to several concerts this past year and paid 14.90 per ticket for my fees alone, which on a 75.00 ticket comes out to 20% of the overall cost of the ticket itself.

It's ridiculous, but I wouldn't single out stubhub b/c ticketmaster is doing the exact same thing--at least with the concert tickets that I bought anyway, and I went to 5-6 different shows and it was the same everytime.

I think it goes without saying that I expect you to be completely hoarse by the end of the second quarter...

:)

Just wanted to let the board know that some random singles are popping up at face value on ticketmaster. I'm not interested in attending by myself, but maybe someone here might want to go.

Looks like they have released the initial returned tickets on ticket exchange.
201 and 323 plus others. Not sure how long they have been on there.
For those who think about joining the waitlist, this happens every year. Playoffs are easier than some regular season games.
Prices are lower than public onsale and pre sale tix.
Did notice that stubhub prices have been going down too.

I'll be with Kraft in the box, I'm good....:pigsfly:

I've had very good luck getting tickets on Craiglist for Celts, Bruins, and Patriots. In all areas for away games, as well. I also used StubHub and the NFL Ticket Exchange (Ticketmaster) and never a problem.

I have not used ebay for tickets, but that is not to say I wouldn't.

There are scammers on craigslist and a lot of brokers. You can spot a scammer if you have decent instincts.
