Possible Snow Storm event for Patriots vs Texans

I don't see what is so bad about being 6-10, tied contracturally to the worst QB in history, and being the laughing stock of the league.

You guys are too hard on them.

I'm sensing sarcasm but if you mean it literally, it works too. We should be loving the jets. Their fans should be hating them.

Weather Underground is saying 0% chance for precipitation with highs around 45 for next weekend.

Weather Forecast Foxboro, MA | Foxboro Weather | Wunderground

A fun fact about "chance for precipitation": that's not actually prospective, but retrospective. Ever notice that the probabilities you see on TV are always a multiple of 10 (e.g., 20, 50, but not 35)?

That's because what they do is look at the last 10 "similar" days (approx. time of year, predicted humidity levels, etc.), and count the number of times there was precipitation.

So, if the last 10 similar days had zero rain or snow, the "chance of precipitation" is officially 0%.

I'm not using this to make any sort of forecast regarding next Sunday; I'm just trying to point out that those numbers don't necessarily mean what the average person thinks they do.

NWS is saying clear, 30s.

Bill Belichick secretly took over the National Weather Service when he found out he couldn't "flex" the game. It will be reporting mild weather right up until the Texans' plane has lifted off. Then it will report a sudden Arctic front with two-feet of snow is predicted for Foxborough at game time.

The Commissioner will want to fine Belichick, but will back down when he sees the video that Belichick has in his safe, and Belichick does the flashy light thing with the scoreboard to Goodell that he did to stop Harbaugh from calling the timeout last year.

And Gronk is healthy.

All systems are go.

Good.

Schaub vs Brady in a snowstorm is like Greg Norman vs Jack Nickalus on Sunday at The Masters. One man chokes. One man welcomes the pressure.

I do love them. I'm a huge Jets fan, and hope they will give us more of the same for years to come. :bricks:

They are predicting major rain storms starting late Monday and into Tuesday here in Dallas. That usually hits you guys up in New England by the weekend depending on how fast it moves. I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys get 10-12 inches of snow game weekend..

I'd love to see Gillette get hit with several inches of global warming during the game. Pats seem to adjust well to it and the visual spectacle is stunning in hi-Def.

That's because it's an even 45 or so under ground all year long.

I'm waiting for Don Kent to come on. He'll straighten this out.

Don Kent is NOT walking through that door..**** Albert is not walking through that door..Bruce Showegler is not walking through that door and Shelby Scott is not going to be standing out in the middle of a storm to tell us it's snowing out,,,,but if they do...they are gonna be wicked old or from the grave..lolo...The forecast is for clear and mid 30's coming out of a warmup....it matters not the weather...we are gonna kick the livin bejeeeesus out of this team...

Marty Engstrom isn't walking thru that door, either.

Poor Shelby Scott. Whenever the weather sucked, they sent her into the middle of it.

if there will be real bad weather i would like snow but not the rain

still 7 days

let's see...

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

its 8 days out...if you watch NWS from now to then...every other day they will have a new forecast!! Read the forecast discussions as well!! I am not saying the storm will happen, but could happen. GFS is not in its complete accurate ranges until 4-5 days out.

and it could be 50 degrees and sunny....let's talk about this when Thursday/Friday roll around.

Don't want to see rain again. I can't take another fumbling performance by Ridley and Vareen.

0z GFS showing RAINand around 40 degrees now. Lets see what the 06z GFS shows.

As an avid weather watcher, I can guarantee 100% that there will be weather during the game. And after the weather, there will be a weather report describing how they predicted the weather correctly.;)
