Has anyone browsed through any broncos forums lately? It's a little ridiculous... They think manning just can't be beat.

I've seen posts like...
"we will win the Super Bowl. We have one thing no other team does: Peyton Manning."
"Manning makes out defense better."
"Manning talked trash last game... He's on an angry mission. We can't lose."
Almost every single post is about Manning.

And almost every analyst that has us winning the afccg also has us losing the Super Bowl to the packers based solely off of "Aaron Rodgers is just a better qb than Tom Brady."

Tired of all this "no Super Bowls after spygate," "can't beat the manning brothers," "Rodgers is better" talk.
We need to shut people up.

Don't worry, This team wants it all and they will get it all. Coming within a few catches last year of winning with not as good team IMO has this team hungry. This team is blood thirsty and they are going to get it. We have the talent, coaches and experience to get it done. Now we have 12 quarters of greatness we have to play.

Baby steps. Let's worry about the Texans Ravens or Colts for now.

It is annoying listening to this arrogant fan base who, to try and borrow a metiphor "was born on 3rd base and thinks they hit a triple". They had an aging HOF QB fall in their lap and act like they raised him from a seed.

Imagine if you and all of your acquaintances were poor and then one of them won the Powerball and then began referring to his prior peers as "losers". That is how the Broncos fans come across to me.

I took a look at this Broncos forum Broncos Football and found this gem of a thread:

New england patriots

Containing posts like these:

"Have the won a superbowl since they got caught cheating. I hope we beat them if it comes down to us playing each other. can't stand seeing josh mcdaniels dumbass on the sidelines.
go.gif
"

"The Pats should have forfeited a game or two. NFL destroyed the evidence after taking a draft pick from NE. "

"They should have been stripped of their titles. "

"Once a cheater..always a cheater
th_coffee.gif
. "

Hmmmm, you'd almost think that they had no idea that their beloved team won two Superbowls, assisted by violating the salary cap, or that between the Pats and Broncos, only ONE has been shown to have taped their opponent's pre-game walkthrough and been punished for it.

If they weren't such a pathetic franchise that no one in the NFL gave a 2nd thought to they would have been slapped with a significant penalty for breaking a videotaping rule that had had a recent precedent already set for it, instead of the wrist slap that they got.

Apparently if you suck you can cheat with relative impunity; it's like when an ant tries to rape an elephant and the elephant doesn't even know it.

Inferiority complexes apparently are not just isolated to the New Jersey swamps.

Let then say what they want. They can but when it comes down to the end of the day, the pats will win. They have the team but not the QB to take charge. We have a QB that takes charge and gets it done.

Why are you letting the thoughts of these people bother you? They don't matter. Do you actually think if the Patriots do beat the Broncos and Packers or anyone else to win the superbowl that haters are going to stop hating?

Exactly. They'll have some excuse to still hate on the Patriots. Probably stuff like "Well they must have cheated because that's the only way they can win the SB"

I want a Super Bowl.

I want a Super Bowl.

QFT. And I could care less who stands in the way or what their fans are saying.

If you want to take out all of the teams of fans who say stupid **** or say things disrespectful to us, we'll need 31 rounds of playoffs.

Think spysats hacked by MIT students on BB's payroll to film walk thrus

BB playing chess while the rest of the league...

They made it past the first playoff game last year with Tebow, then added Manning. What do you expect the fans of the Broncos to say? Our team lost to the Pats earlier, and will probably lose again? They are fans of another team, and have not enjoyed an AFC or NFL title since 1998. They last played for the conference title in 2005. Let the Broncos fans get excited about possibilities, and then hope to be the fan of the team that crushes those dreams.

I've recently developed a hatred for Denver. It started when they signed Peyton Manning.

All of a sudden their fan base latched on to the Colts legacy like a parasite and took up all their arguments and passions. It was one of the most pathetic things I've ever seen. Some of them act like Peyton was drafted by Denver. He's `their guy.`

Last season Denver had an identity. They earned the love of a lot of the nation. They happily threw that all away by getting the biggest free agency signing in recent memory. They're not Denver this year. They're Peyton Manning in a new uniform. They have no team. They have no soul. They're just one man. The team itself is just his prop.

It's a mercenary team now. A team driven to desperation to lift themselves out of complete mediocrity with a fan base that slavishly traded their team identity away for one man from the Indianapolis Colts.

Denver sold its soul for a chance at a Superbowl ring. They're not going to get it.

Also, their fans are all the same. Every time they face us they talk themselves up into a frenzy and convince themselves everything is going to go their way, they're going to pressure Brady, and we'll be helpless to stop them. "They're not the same team they were before," or "they've closed the gap with the Patriots."

Each and every time in the last 3 encounters has been the same.

They're convinced they're going to win and then the game is already over by half time and we've completely imposed our will on them.

Then they take to their forums and talk about how much they hate Tom Brady, how their team is horrible, how it can't compete with the elite teams, etc, then a year later they repeat the whole process over again.

Their starting QBs in the past 10 years have been Tim Tebow, Kyle Orton, Jay Cutler, Jake Plummer, and Brian Griese. You can't blame them for going overboard about Manning.

I'd rather get the Texans, take care of business and let Baltimore go to Denver and take them out so we get the AFC Championship game. Probably won't happen though. We're going to have to go there. Maybe Baltimore will at least beat them up for us!!

Hopefully we will not get Baltimore next week and Denver the week after. That would be two tough ones in a row (not that I am discounting the Texans).

Why are you browsing their forums anyway?

LOL. I think the same thing about Tom Brady (although I, like the Broncos fans, should know better!). As I have said to other teams' fans who have come on here and tried to convert all of us to their way of thinking, if you want someone to agree with you, go on your own team's forums!

One thing I do sometimes when the Pats beat the Jets is go on their game thread and scroll through the posts which always start out with a lot of chest thumping and end with a lot of cliff jumping. Hilarious. I never post though. It's useless on another team's forum. Just go for the laughs.

I cant like this enough. I'm dead sick of the hype about these two teams. And I already hate the Packers with a passion.
