41 years...that's amazing.

RIP

Players loved him. He was always looking out for them and in the last decade or so tracking and securing significant game balls for many of them. I think Adam told a story about Donnie making sure his snow bowl and SB kick balls didn't get lost in the shuffle.

RIP.

Shame, win this next one for Donnie.

Devin McCourty tweeted this photo from 2005 posted on his facebook page. Happy guy. Quite the career it turned out to be. Looks like he wore his rings proudly at the White House. What I love about the way Bill and the Krafts run this outfit is how everyone from the star QB to the equipment guys are truly part of the team.

May the Angels of Mercy bring solace to his family and friends.

My thoughts are with his family. RIP.

What a wonderful career he had, starting out as a ball boy as a teenager, and never left the team. Went to several Super Bowls, even got to go to the White House. A football fan's dream career.

RIP. 41 years is a looooonnnnngg time!

RIP.

Cancer sucks. :(

My condolences to his family and friends.

RIP Don, a man who worked through all the great times and the rough ones too. Condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences to his family and loved ones...

RIP Don. Thanks for being such a great fan and a great employee.

Sad news. :(

Remember the stories about how the Brady/Manning friendship led to them jointly propose some minor equipment rule changes, which were quickly implemented?

That presumably wouldn't have happened without contributions from and confidence in their equipment managers.

RIP ...We will miss you

...but I want to know who is the idiot who gives sympathetic and sad threads like these 5 stars?

Very sad news.

My condolences to his friends and family.

Condolences, RIP... would love to have had a beer or two with this guy.
