Big round of applause for the O-line they gave up 0 pressures today I believe (Only two I recall were allowed by Hooman and Ridley)

I think Mankins and Solder are almost back to normal health both looked good in the screen game moving around. Same with Connolly and Vollmer for that matter I think we are getting healthy at that position FINALLY after a long banged up year. 2 weeks off should give these guys the juice we need to get through the SB.

Give Tommy time and Lombardi #4 is coming to Foxborough we finally have a legit D and a running game (two things that have prevented us from that trophy)

Played terrible against the Jags who themselves have a terrible pass rush.

Dont think anyone really considered the tole it took to play 92 snaps against the 9ers, one of the best defenses in the NFL. Not to mention all the snaps they played against JJ Watt and the Texans.

Great, even stellar, performance by the OL today. A bye should serve the line well AND Talib AND Dennard AND Spikes AND even Jones.

Huge win. Not to be ****y but if we come back healthy in the playoffs, no team scares me.

Couldn't have said it any better myself I agree with everything you said. Our defense has been lights out since getting Talib and starting Dennard or as close to it as you can in the current NFL (18.5 points allowed despite the 49ers DEBACLE!)

No one scares me, I was scared to death before getting the bye because I thought we may be too banged up to beat 4 playoff teams. But now I think we might be one of the healthier teams come 2 Sundays from now. If you think about it a lot of our injuries are not long term killers, but nagging ones that we have been managing now for the last 2 weeks. Given the bye and 2 more weeks of rest a lot of those guys should be near 90-100%

When the O goes Oregon(80 plus plays) the next game the O line is awful it seems..

After the Broncos game, VS the Seahawks. After the SF game Vs the Jags.

This is really just off the top of my head. I am going to look into it more when I have a chance..

Exactly. The OL closes out the season by playing a good game against a very solid defense. Just what the doctor ordered!! Much of the fate of the team rests on how well the OL plays.
With the bye: Gronk 100% (and seriously raring to go!) and the OL feeling physically better. Defensively should see our, BY FAR, best secondary back on the field....as well as Spikes back to full speed and breathing fire.

The ingredients sure seem to be coming together to allow the Patriots to perform at their highest capable level (not having lost JE for the season would have been icing on the cake!). So IF the OL plays well I feel real good about the playoffs, real good.

This is simply wishful thinking. Ninkovich and Dennard are injured. Talib and Spikes are recovering from injuries.

Yep, we are the team, we won't play healthy and excellent until the play offs and when we are, people are never going to say we have a bad D.

Here's hoping the Div. Game is an efficient one.

Nate Solder right now is a Top 5 left tackle in the NFL. He should have made the Pro Bowl but we all know how that works. He has shut down some of the most dominant pass rushers and has been awesome in the run game.

No, it's not wishful thinking. I know you've insisted on becoming the leader of the "Debbie Downers" here on the website but you clearly missed that he was replying to someone who stated that Dennard, Talib and Spikes should be healthy.

Also, we don't know Ninkovich's status. It could just be a charley horse or a pulled muscle in his hip or some other malady that isn't serious. Let's wait and see before acting like the extra week isn't going to help these guys when we know it will.
