Nice. I like the 4pm game.

Last game of the weekend.... good for us as we'll know how the Denver game turned out.

I hate the late Sunday game...there's been an upset in that slot six out of the last seven years.

Hate that time slot as well. Long wait and last time we played at that slot after a bye it didnt turn out that well.

Eh, I hate waiting for that slot of the divisional round. And I like playing on Saturday that weekend (if we had the bye) and getting the extra day between that game/the AFCC.

Not a huge deal though, I"m just happy to be one of the 4 teams that benefit from the bye.

Good. The rest of the conference can watch the Patriots take it to the, presumably, Texans. Let's get it on!

History means jack. Or as we in the financial world like to say: "Past performance does not guarantee future returns" ;)

If we are destined to win or lose. The day/time slot is not a factor.

For the Pats it's one more day to rest.

Its a slight adv for denver. They are at home and they dont have to travel for a game next sunday and get an extra day off. Pats on the other hand will have to travel the following week if they win.

Of course that assumes Denver wins their divisional game, and we've seen Manning blow those games a few times (2005, 2007)

Anybody else have the feeling that Indy will play Denver?

Its almost destiny isnt it?

Also the team Denver faces round 2 will probably be tougher than any team they've been able to beat all year.

Yup. Emphasis on slight. No big deal either way.

Well they've already beaten Baltimore and Cincinnati. I hope it's Indy though, that would be great TV.

True but Bmore didn't have Ray and a few others IIRC. And Cincinatti is playing way better now than earlier in the season.

No doubt, Cincy is playing on a much higher level now. I would not be at all shocked if they take out Houston next weekend and we end up with Baltimore/Indy.

I get this feeling the Bengals are gonna go down there and beat them. Played there last year in the first round so they know the atmosphere. Houston has lost 3 of their last 4. Bengals D is a D that could give Schaub and Foster problems.

If it wasn't for that 1 point loss to Dallas, Bengals would have won their last 8 games and their lost before this 7 of 8 streak was against the Broncos which they actually had the lead in the 4th. Now most of the teams were bad teams, but the same could be said about the Broncos.

yeah, be nice to know if we can rest the starters.

IMO, time is irrelevant pretty much.

you could say each as 'an advantage'
-Sun 1pm is ideal for routine.
-Sat ideal for a possible extra day of rest
-late start is better for possible snow-type temperatures when at home.

= anytime is better than being a JESTER fan ..... :singing:

I'd be shocked if Cincy doesn't win. I think the Texans are officially cooked.

Yeah, I honestly can't put a winner on that game. Houston's playing terribly, but Cincy's playoff history can't be ignored. And Houston's got the home field so I really dunno.
