12 winning Seasons in a row.
10 playoff appearances during that span.
5 ( soon to be 6?) SB appearances.

The most dominant dynasty in the last 50 years of sports if not ever.

The Boston Celtics of 1957-1969 (11 championships in 13 years) say hi. In addition, check the Dallas Cowboys from 1966-1985 with 20 winning years in a row with them making the playoffs 16 of 17 years (8 in, one out, 8 more in)
and 5 Super Bowl appearances in that time.....

Yeah, yeah yeah, the Celts, the Yankees of the 30, 40's, 50's, the Canadiens in ( pick a decade).

I thought of all those but 6 team leagues in hockey, 8 in basketball? Not quite the same.

Dallas? Maybe. Certainly the 16 or 17 years that the 49ers had winning records.

But I'm a Pats fan and this a Pats board,so what's a little hyperbole hurt?

The Chicago Bulls dynasty owns any conversation for modern day sports.
We can talk about your grandfather's Celtics but the Bulls fans will never admit they were any less.
Congrats to our Pats, but unless TB wins another 3 or 4 Super Bowls, lets stick to football and not the hyperbole of "sport."

The Celtics say Hello.
So does the UCLA Bruins men's basketball team.
So, pardon the expression, do the Yankees.

Ahh. Beat me to it.

Want a little closer to this era

San Fran 1981-1994
14 years
12 playoffs
11 division titles
5 Super Bowl titles
5 Super Bowl games

Pats have had 5 SB appearances in less time than Cowbows. Took the Boyz 20 years. :bricks:

Bob?

Are you referring to Robert Kraft? The fellow the players consistently refer to as "Mr. Kraft."?

And yes, when you celebrate eight championships in a row, 11 in 13 seasons - that's sort of setting the bar.

Yes Robert "Bob" Kraft.

"Bob", as he introduces himself, and he has to me a few times here on the Cape at some social events over the years.

"Bob and Steve" as I have met him with his old partner in crime, Steve Karp.

Boston Pats fans clearly, intentionally left out any talk of the Lakers....still going strong after all those years!

The salary cap era (the era of parody[sic]) says hi......

Hyperbole, the bane of the GangGreen forum.

The Pats, like any of the 32 teams in the current NFL, only have to have a better record than the three teams in their division to make the playoffs. It doesn't matter what their record is, as long as it's better than the Bills, Dolphins and Jets. That puts them in a 4 team race.

No team in pro sports has been or is in the same ballpark as the 60's Celts.

I would also like to thank the rest of the Kraft Family, all of the coaches, all the folks in the front office and all of the players who made these TEAM achievements possible.

San Antonio Spurs are always under the radar when it comes to this type of discussion--they have 4 titles under Duncan and Popovich plus a zillion division titles. Whats most impressive is how spread out their titles have been. I was rooting for them to go last year, but they just ran out of gas against OKC. Had they gone, they would have been to the Finals in 3 different decades(1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2012)

Pats have some jewelry catching up to do with the rest of the big boys I think. But the division titles are just obscene

Lets thank the other 53 players and entire coaching staff all these years for all the success.

It takes more than 1 Owner,1 Coach and 1 player to win games.
