I am back to being confused about what was going on with Aiken this week...

We need to start fast to insure the win. I think we will win but it would be better if the O and D are playing good. Need some momentum.

Now the football gods have let us in....

If the Pats don't step up and walk through the door against Miami then you can forget about going anywhere in the playoffs.

If you ever needed incentive to lay down a marker and give it your best effort then today is it.

Re: Now the football gods have let us in....

The Texans have looked really bad, hopefully the Patriots look good and cruise as they should. They really need the BYE.

Precisely my point, we need that week to get 100% healthy and get rid of all the niggles and to iron out some points on O and D that need to be adressed

I'm thinking we see Gronk now.

Now if only Denver somehow loses (AFC at home)

Well so far we are are having our way today:

Colts over Houston

Bills over Jets

Even the Bengals are beating the Ravens ( not sure what this means but instinctively I feel it must be good)

Just need:

Pats win

Broncos loss

Redskins win ( do I need to say why?)

I'm not joking, if we don't win today then it will be one of the biggest let downs/dissapointments in our history.

When you know you have to go to mile high, i can't stress just how important the bye is and also not having to face the sackmasters from Cincinnati smashing Brady every 30 seconds a few weeks before facing Peyton.

They better win today.

Seriously, why do you have to repeat yourself in threads?? You whined about this in the Week 17 thread.

Sorry, but once the play-offs start, it's a brand new game and everyone starts at 0-0.

Will it be disappointing if the Pats lose? Sure. But the Bengals front 7 aren't better than Houston's. Or the 49ers for that matter. And the Pats kept Brady upright for the most part.

So, relax, enjoy the game.
