Tidbit:

While the Patriots put 7 players in the Pro Bowl, the rest of the AFCE only put in 3 players, combined:

Cromartie
Landry
Wake

8 for Houston, 9 for SF and **** Sherman snubbed.

Richard Sherman not making the probowl, NFL fans are clueless.

The votes not all from the fans, and Sherman had the suspension looming over him.

yeah...but Cromartie-dad and the prehistoric trog Landryman are the superest, bestest, gweatest OG OG OG "BEASTS!!!!!" to ever make the Pro Bowl...so try to remember that in the future...or else this board will feel the "WRATH!!!!!" of Buttfumble Fan as they inundate our threads with "BEASTIN!!!!"boasts and other assorted mongoloidisms...

He's the best CB in the league with Revis out; why should the suspension matter? He'll be a starter on the All-pro team yet not even make the probowl.

Another coffin in the nail of the Mayo detractors.

Wasn't there a rule change that says that players suspended for drug violations are ineligible for season honors?

Especially since he was named a starter (along with everyone but Brady and Welker). :rocker:

Oh: may we NOT see any of them in the Pro Bowl! :)

All were Pats all pros are worthy except Mankins who's election this year is more of a testament to his previous excellence. This has been the first year that Mankins hasn't earned that huge salary. Hopefully he'll be healthy enough to be effective for the playoffs, and fully healthy next season.

Congrats to all! Honestly I thought Ridley would get in.

Logan Mankins?? Ahahahaha... hahaha.. ha ..ha....

Really?

Not only has he missed a lot of time, but he hasn't played well even when he is in.

No Hernandez?!?!?

There have been a few TEs that had some pretty good seasons while AH was out with injury. Also has not really been the same player ( other then a couple of decent games) since his return. Maybe Gronks absence does have something to do with it, idk.
AHern is definitely Probowl worthy when healthy but just not this year.

Plus player/coach voters are apparently leery of giving both TE slots to the same team.

To put it in perspective: which AFC tight end, other than GRONK, was better than Hernandez last year [2011]? Yet even though Hernandez finished second in fan voting in the conference, he wasn't voted in.
