We will know a lot more by the end of February.. combine will be complete, Franchise tag deadline.

I ask you, is the a better run league out there? the NFL makes something as boring as "Deadline for signing and submission of Offer Sheets by Restricted Free Agents" interesting and important, simply amazing.

I cannot wait for the combine. That's one of my favorite things. And I get to watch it this year on NFL network.

But I hate Polian and do not want to see him there. UGH.

10 days till the Asante tag watch officially begins! :D

Nice thread! Great post cstJ!
Sticky?

I believe that the 3/19 owners meeting is when they do the Comp picks. Then the entire draft order is settled unless there's a trade (non-comp picks).

We should end up with 11-12 picks this year.

Thanks. That's really useful.

lets see if we make a move on Samuel in 4 days. then BB will meet with Adalius Thomas(@ pro bowl) if Ravens dont do anything. then we got the combine which is always fun imo

its the track they have..its super fast and thats been used so why change it

During the first three years, two additional camps were held at different times to collect similar information for teams that did not belong to National Football Scouting. However, in 1985 all 28 NFL teams decided they would participate in future National Invitational Camps with the goal of sharing costs for the medical examinations of draft eligible players. After brief stints in New Orleans (1984, 1986) and Arizona (1985) the camp was moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where it has been operated since 1987.

...super fast track eh?....mmm and nobody else Questions the colts ethics...

The patriots must submit their tags by February 22. There is not reason for any free agent to sign a deal before then.

Some more nfl dates:

March 16-23 - NFLPA Board of Player Reps Meeting - Maui, Hawaii
May 22-23 - NFL Spring Meeting - Nashville, Tennessee
August 5 - NFL Preseason kicks off with AFC/NFC Hall of Fame Game - Canton, Ohio (Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints)
August 9 - Inaugural China Bowl - Workers Stadium - Beijing, China (New England Patriots vs. Seattle Seahawks)
August 9-13 - First preseason weekend
