So he's basically a tallish(6'2) slow guy that can't get separation?

Back to the smurfs who can't get open man2man! Smurfs usually have brain.

Brady will be hitting him in the knees all game

A player that can't make the Bills team who might have the worst receiving corps in the league is not a guy I am getting excited about.

You have to have those names in your sig? I'm trying to get happy drunk. Not depressed drunk.

R.I.P before i'm called a monster.

LOL.....

"at UCF he did have the ability to lull the defense to sleep before getting behind them for the deep ball."

So Brady will be almost dead by the time Aiken gets open....

Maybe BB's using this game to test his depth possibilities, hopefully it works out and he makes 1 or 2 grabs in limited playing time.

Wish we still had Eraserhead

I like that Bill finally realized that having Tom air out to Welker against 2 6'3 DB's is a bad idea but I see we are still trying to find diamonds in the rough. If we can devise schemes that will allow him to get free while teams are double teaming Gronk, Hernandez and Welker, he could work for now. I just kind of hope he won't be the answer just so we can actually draft or use free agency to acquire some true talent at a much needed position. Deep threat is one area that I think, and Moss proved, you just can't teach or develop. You need that body and you need that natural speed. At least 1 WR on your team should have it.

But I guess he will do for now, if for no other reason, to refresh Brady's memory that there is such a thing as a deep ball and he used to do it once on a regular basis.:D

Pats call up non smurf WR

th

Seems a bit old, and slow out of the break, but if BB thinks he can play....

I'm a bit surprised by this. Ebert at least has some speed (4.38 pro day) and Logan has great return ability, thought one of those two would get the call first. I guess Aiken is showing more in practice.

BB seems to make chicken salad out of chiken $h!t. Let's see what happens. It's Jax, what better time? Keep the WR's healthy, try out the new guy.:confused2:

Interesting fact; This kid was born in Hollywood....

Florida.

:D

Having a tall WR has it's advantages. :rocker:

What's the under and over on his reps on offense before the last couple series of garbage time? I don't think he'll play unless we sit Welker, Lloyd or Branch.

Hmm, maybe a little rest for Welker once the game gets out of hand?

Maybe they are just throwing the guy a bone for 1 week.

Don't they need a roster spot next week for Cunningham?

Yeah, by my math this is the last week of Cunningham's suspension.

Damn, PWP--I'm not going to go quite that far, especially after that terrible effort in the back of the EZ in the WAS game last year.

It could potentially be a pleasant surprise though, especially if he can somehow connect on a deep throw or two heading into the postseason that would bring out that one last aspect of our game that could be very helpful.

Probably nothing more than depth for a banged up position though, as we can't afford to lose either one of Llyod or Welker at this point. I am expecting some limited time for Welker, if not both players towards the second half of next week's game.

Stranger things have happened though.
