Some facts about those games:
- Even when apparently Brady dominates his schemes, he has never thrown 300+ yds in a single game vs JDR.
- NE offense has posted 400+ yds on the last 3 games vs JDR.
- On a 2-game stretch in 2008-09 seasons, Brady posted this numbers:
26/28, 262 yds, 3 TD, 0 INT
23/26, 267 yds, 4 TD, 0 INT
He had completion streaks of 16, 12 and 15 passes on those games.
- NE has a total of 3 turnovers on those 6 games.
- Despite the success of the passing game vs JDR, here is the rushing numbers for NE (apparently the reason for no 300-yd game):
Att-Yds-TD
32-84-1
28-118-0
30-117-2
29-145-1
36-197-1
54-251-3
A total of 912 yds on 209 carries (4.4 avg) and 8 TDs.

Now if we could just neutralize their offense....
You do realize that that defense in Week 5 did neutralize that offense for 3 quarters. Now it was aided by the offense but the D did deserve some credit.
With 2 minutes left in the third quarter it was 31-7.
Patriots deciding to go for it on 4 downs and Brady getting sacked set the Broncos up on the NE 43. Which made it 31-21. gotta believe if they were to meet again and the Pats were in a similar position they would be punting.
They held Manning to only two long successful drives that game. That was with Arrington and Moore as the #2 & #3 corners (although Dennard did come in the game) and McCourty wasn't playing safety.
You can't say this isn't a good sign for us vs. Denver defense in the playoffs.
Now if we could just neutralize their offense....
The thing we have going for us on defense is Talib. If he could minomize Thomas one on one somehow, that offense would have trouble. The whole offense is two WRs, two JAG TEs, and a crappy RB.
