You finally made me laugh after yesterday's game.

Thanks a lot.

The Jets need to give Sanchez a big contract, you know to improve his confidence and all that.

And to make him utterly untradable and uncuttable beyond 2014.

I needed that after SNF loss. Thank you Sanchize and Rexy.

Everyones so excited about the Jets losin'..not me!! If we are gonna get stuck with the 3rd seed....of all the teams I'd rather of played was the Jets in the wildcard came. So in a round about way I was wanting the Jets to win.....Mind you...I wasn't rootin' for them, I was just hopin' they would win for the playoff matchup!!!

I was rooting for Sanchez to get hot for the last few games of the season so they would think he had turned the corner and stick with him for another year.

Didn't Tanny already do that last offseason?

looking at their cap page.

New GM and head coach in the offseason.

Revis may be traded if only to begin the Cap healing.

lots of others maybe considered for trade too.
Ferguson and Mangold in the o-line.
DecoDad too.

Tebow eventually to Jacksonville.
Holmes the door.
And then, they may have some room to wiggle.

Edit.

Calvin Pace and Bart scott may well be shown the door. Doubt anyone takes on those conttacts via trade.

Hey..I covered my Ass with a preface..lol...Wouldn't you like to stick it to the Jets just one more time on National TV before the band of bigmouths are disbanded?...LOL

Over at JI, they're saying that cutting the Sanchize would cost them much more than his 2013 guaranteed salary of $8.5M. Because of the all previous conversions of salary into bonuses, the total cap hit would be $17M. :)

If I were the jets, I'd just do it. At the very least it'd be a culture change.

The bad news is that they got too inept that they are now going to have to make major changes.

It would have been better if they had somehow finished 8-8 and managed to bring everybody back next year, to let the suckitude keep lasting.

Thats the beauty of the jets. They disappoint even their haters.

They'll bring in a new GM and a new coach who'll try to "fix" Sanchez. Sanchez will bounce back to the sort of player he was as a 2nd year player, and that'll be enough for them to give him another contract. Then the cycle will continue....

The Jets could write a book on how to ruin and shatter a QB's confidence.

I mean Sanchez isn't a great QB to begin with, but he has been adequate in the past with the Jets having a good defense.

So what do the Jets do.
at the end of 2011 they give Sanchez a vote of confidence.
they then court Peyton Manning for 1/2 the off season
Failing to sign Manning, they bring in Tim Tebow.

Then it all blows up, as Sanchez's confidence is totally shatterred, and to boot, the Jets D goes in the tank

I pray for this perverse "Groundhog Day" scenario with Sanchez.
Make it so!
