Where was Brandon Bolden tonight? He wasn't listed as inactive. He could have taken some reps too.

I was wondering the same thing. Guess he didn't come back ready to play.

By the time he would have seen the field, this was a Danny Woodhead kind of game.

Bolden should have been alternating with ridley right from the get go

How long til this thread is moved? 5, 4, 3, 2, 1,...... moved!?!?!?!

Prediction: Boldin

I think Ridley's fumbleitis will end up leading to a much larger role for Boldin next week. He was very good before his suspension, and we all know how much Belichick HATES when his RBs cough up the football. I think Ridley's snaps will go way down and Boldin's will go way up.

Re: Prediction: Boldin

Hope we look at Bolden next week - if you can't hold onto the ball you can't play.

Re: Prediction: Boldin

So, are you reliable if you get suspended for 4 games?

Couldn't agree more Ridley Fumbled Last week too...i have seen enough time for Bodden!

Re: Prediction: Boldin

I wonder why Bolden didn't play last night ? He did have a few snaps against the Texans last week , so curious to why not last night.

I don't understand the point of this statement. I'm talking about next week. Boldin is available to play next week. Ridley has fumbled a lot the past couple of weeks. I think, therefore, that Boldin will get a good long look next week.

I agree, ivan. Bolden should be given a chance (or maybe Vereen) as the RBs cannot be coughing up the football and taking points off the board. And his suspension this year has nothing to do with fumbling, as you said.

Re: Prediction: Boldin

Boldin is on the Ravens. Bolden is the Patriot RB. I hope Belichick is not so reactionary as to sit Ridley. While I like Bolden, Ridley IMO is the only RB we have that can legitimately keep defenses honest.

Re: Prediction: Boldin

Bolden was better than Stevan when they split the carries earlier in the season.

The context is labeling one guy unreliable and the other guy reliable. Belichick might not feel that either of them are reliable.

Vereen fumbled last night also...

Yes, the first of his career. At this point, he doesn't have a track record of fumbling. I don't think the Patriots should abandon Ridley as a RB but someone outside of Woodhead should be prepared to step in and carry the load should it happen again. I think someone should be given a chance next Sunday to see if they can be the primary back. Granted, JAC, is not a test defensively, but at least it's game work. Maybe it can be used as a chance to get Stevan some confidence, assuming he's lost any.

Re: Prediction: Boldin

I hope he gets more carries but not because of the fumbles. Before his injury he was getting close to Ridley's workload and I thought he looked better than Vereen has as a runner. I'm suprised he wasn't used last night with Vereen/Ridley struggling but Woodhead was running very well.

Does Ridley's fumbling concern me? Yes.

Is it a reason to "move away" from him? No.

Maybe cut his workload down a bit, perhaps, but IMO he's still the best choice.

FALSE!
And let's see how he performs post-suspension
