There was a time several years ago when I thought he was the best ref in football. Now not so much. IMO that goes to Mike Carey.

Mike Carey the over-officious ref. No one points to which team committed the foul with more authority than Mike Carey. I am still waiting for the day a player accidentally walks by him when he is announcing a call and he takes that player out signaling which team committed the foul.

Otherwise, I do agree with you that he is probably the best. Hochuli is probably the worst at this point. Lucky for him the league's PED testing doesn't extend to refs.

Great. Hopefully most of the blown calls/non-calls hurt the niners.

Well, if you go to any Jets fans' message board tonight, I guarantee you that according to them, all of them are.

Best of luck tonight guys. I'm off to bed.

Shout yourselves horse.

Go Pats.

Feast on Harbaugh.

Yup, he does point with out the offending team with a purpose.

Adderall and he has good genes my friend....

According to Rotoworld, Gronk is officially inactive. I kinda figured it was a huge long shot since he only practiced Friday.

just move to the other side of the pond mate...well na you don't want to come over here...but i do want to live there for a few years to see what it is like

Me too. I love the sound of "Pubs" :rocker:

Albert Breer says that Solder and Talib are active and that Gronk is the only notable name on the inactive list. That means Dennard, Mankins, Connolly, and Jones are all active.

As expected. The rest of New England's "questionable" gang — Aaron Hernandez, Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd — are all active. Gronk's Friday return to practice suggests he might suit up for Week 16, but Week 17 remains his most likely return date. Also inactive for the Patriots are S Derrick Martin, LB Tracy White, OT Markus Zusevics, DE Jake Bequette and DT Ron Brace.

Collinsworth and Hines Ward :Weather favors the 49ers and can effect pats WRs.

I just went outside to put the garbage out...it's MURDEROUS...real NE raw to the bone wet and cold hell....they should have played this game at 1

Patriots on the 50" Plasma, Jack Daniels on the rocks. I'm ready!

That is such BS. Didn't they say that when the Pats played the Bears in a blizzard in 2010? Didn't they say that when the Pats played the Steelers in driving rain I think in 2009?

Weather like this can hurt the defenders much more because they have to keep up with the Pats who like to run a lot of complicated routes. It is tougher to keep your footing when you are chasing someone and you don't know where they are going. At least that is what it seems like.

Stuck at work. :( But got the dvr set and my phone ready for the updates.

DE Jake Bequette and DT Ron Brace are SO deep on the s*** list this season
At least Jake is a rook

This is going to be the biggest brawl of the season

Hopefully the patriots can give it as much as they're going to take it.

Don't these guys realise that Brady is used to and has excelled in this type of weather?

How exactly does this bad weather only favour the niners?

because everybody hates the Patriots...we've become the N.E. Pankees

Brace is done, but Bequette was going to be a project coming in. I will give him until next year.

Watched 49ers Central on their comcast sports channel this week, and that was their analysts thoughts as well. 49ers are built to win cold weather games with good defense and a run game blah blah blah...

My first thought was they must of missed the Arizona and Tennessee games to mention a few recent ones....Hopefully the 49er players are thinking the same way...

I hope that we don't have to listen to this nonsense all night.
