Weather report for Foxborough tonight as of 10:46 am. Yes, snowy mix at 5pm then it gets warmer as the night progresses.

In other words, miserable. I like it!!

Go Pats!

That's because your twisted - cold rain, mid 30's - absolute WORST fan weather known to man. Layers, stupid plastic rain suit, waterproof gloves that always get wet, UGH UGH.

Give me Snow, give me cold, give me anything but today's weather.

That said - I can't wait to get there and for kickoff!!

Rain and snow showers before 8pm, then rain showers and sleet between 8pm and 9pm, then rain showers after 9pm. Patchy fog. Low around 35. East wind around 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

yeah worst weather to be in as a fan....but helps our chances IMO

LOL, it is bad for fans, but there's just something about a psych out of the other team when they get out there on the field and it's sleeting on them, and the Foxboro faithful are all there wrapped up and roaring like this is old hat for them (which it is :) ).

Go Pats!!

The radar just does not show that...yet....

Yes cold nasty rain is the worst....

I am going to the game and tailgating from 4 PM on to boot.

One trick that I use: don't wear jeans or traditional pants, wear ski pants over your silks/long underwear. Ski pants will keep you dry and really warm and the denim just binds up your knees from repeated standup/sit down.

Layers and a rain coat for the upper body.

I don't think I need the balaclava (head sock) yet, just a polyester hat.

Two layers of socks (silks and polyester) and waterproof boots.

Be extra careful on the drive home, roads will be slick and there are a ton of folks all hitting the highway at the same time... midnight.

Until/unless, by some miracle, I ever become anything other than a long distance fan, I shall reserve the right to be selfish and evil in my toasty home :D

Thank you for taking one for the team ;)

Here's to a steady diet of 9ers fumbalitas <sic>

Yeah, this is an Under Armor Cold Gear compression night with snowboard pants, a couple layers, a rain jacket, and a Pats jersey on top.

It's snowing right now in southern NH! Go Pats!!

The hitting will really hurt tonight.

that post made me all misty-eyed for my days in Massachusetts. You know how to dress, dude.

I'm probably a few years older than you, so I'd be going with the balaclava plus the stocking cap. I'd also add a comfortable pair of trousers between a set of polypro thermals and the rain/ski pants. At least two layers (one of them turtle neck) plus a good (zip up) sweater up top under a heavy weight wind and rain proof parka. Add a good scarf, two pairs of socks, the outer pair woolen, and a pair of heavy weight ****-kickers on my feet plus two pairs of gloves and something to put under my butt. The important thing is to be warm and not give a **** how you "look."

Top it all off with some nice rye or bourbon to sip and I'm ready for anything, with someone else driving home of course.

My philosophy, you can always loosen the scarf and unzip the sweater or parka if you get too warm, but it's over if you get chilled.

Weather-wise these are the worst games to go to. All that ski stuff (jackets, pants) all get waterlogged as it continues to rain. They are water resistant, not proof. Too cold to wear rain gear unless you can fit it over your winter stuff.

It is miserable to be in. The good thing is that it may affect the 49ers players more than anyone since they aren't used to the cold. San Fran can get cold, but not this cold very often.

Nah, we need it Zack Pillar cold to get the big advantage

Several 49ers on field here pregame and exclaimed loudly "it's cold as blank!!!!" #patriotstalk

Awesome! I love cold weather games.

i like what i am hearing already! pats are use to this

What I really love are the fans of other teams that, for whatever reason, seem to think that cold, wet/snow games give their team some advantage over New England, as if NE was some warm weather dome team or something.:D

Doubt Kaepernick is going to be showing off the Tatt's tonight.
