Good looking out. Started with Griffin, the guy's a punt blocking machine.

Did anyone else see flashes of Rodney with Landry?

Landry definitely seems to have a better technique at tackling than Griffin, IMO. Isn't the consensus that Landry won't be around for us at 24?

Landry will be the first safety selected in the 2007 NFL draft.

I watched Paul, Gin, Landy, and Woodley. There's not one of those guys I'd be dissapointed with, not one. Landry is Rodney Jr. That guy has it allf rom that video. Covers well, but jeez he hits like a MF. This draft is loaded with our needs.

well ur watching HIGHLIGHTs..so you cant be dissapointed

Paul is overrated..he needs to add weight and be consistent..this year was not a good year for him

Ginn i like b/c hes so exciting but as a pro i have my questions..certainly wouldnt mind him though

Landry = dream ..not flashy but gets it done. Good in coverage and hits. if he adds weight he can play in box consistently if needed

Woodley had a bad senior bowl week till he got hurt..hes not quick enough to play OLB..could play inside but hes not worth pick 24..maybe..just maybe 28 but im not sold

That's why Paul is my least favorite. Watching even his highlights, I see him being dragged. You hit it in the head with gaining weight. That's something that can be done tho.

I just don't think Pozs' game transfers well to the pros, I have question about his durability, strength, speed, and coverage. I'll think he will end up like B.Carpenter, coming on towards the end of the season, as he gains speed and strength and his instincts become more useful

Ginn is a bit too small for the NFL game, but he has Devin Hester like abilities returning kicks and punts, if he's there with our second rounder then I would love him, if not then we can pick up Josh Wilson later in the draft

Agreed, he's the second best prospect in this draft behind Calvin Johnson, and probably the surest thing in the draft. That being said I wouldn't mind him or Nelson at 24, or Griffin/Meriweather at 28.

well gaining weight/muscle doesnt always solve the problem..Beisel didnt seem different after gaining 12 pounds of "muscle" in offseason

The kid weighs a lot. I mean he's 245 now, and has very low body fat. He's sculpted, and a workout freak. I could see him gaining 10 pounds without any loss of speed at all.

People are really missing the boat on this guy. Jack Ham called him the best lB to ever lay at PSU for a reason. I mean, what didn't you like in his video? He was all over the place. Fast, a sure tackler, when you watch him play it's amazing to see that he's in on every play. He's all over the field.

I'd put him ten pounds below that. :bricks:

I've seen him up close without pads. Definitely bigger than Ted Johnson who I also saw up close in 1999. Taller, bigger arms, bigger chest, wider shoulders. And he's still a college kid.

I think he's got prototype size for MLB.

Paul Poluszny registered 6-1.2 237# at the Senior Bowl.

Fell to page 2.

Thought it could use the bump!

you realize Texas secondary was 1 of the worst pass defenses in the nation right?

You do realize that they had no one up front, right? Did you watch the video of Aaron Ross? Their front seven was missing tackles left and right, and their CBs and Safeties had to make up for it. If Michael Griffin is making tackles on RBs in the backfield, I think he could fit right in here.

You do realize that when you don't generate a pass rush, your secondary is vulnerable the longer the QB has time to throw, right?
