Best moment of the year and, until now, haven't been able to get a clip of it:

Tom Brady Slides and Celebrates While ****ting on Texans - YouTube

A perfect moment of 70,000 people communicating with one man in the middle of a playing field. The crowd noise absolutely exploded with his first fist pump.

As great as the snow fountain game.

An impressive scramble, and a pretty good moment with the crowd.

I've never seen him engage in "antics". If he's pumping his fist it's because it's genuine. I suppose it helps to have your heart racing a little - har. He did elude the LB but not by a whole bunch. I would guess that Brady clanners were holding their collective breath.

It's a great trick play. Like the Spanish Inquisition, nobody expects a Brady scramble.

:rocker: One of the great mobile QBs of all time - he was that close to taking it to the house. Kaepernick has nothing on TB, and the 49ers had better be prepared.

Somebody's got to upload Brady's pass reception from 2001. I'm always amused by people who say Brady's not athletic. Not only can he quarterback, he could become a midrange receiving threat in a pinch and he's a pretty damn good punter. What's your yards per reception, Peyton Manning? What's your career punting average, Aaron Rodgers?

As great as that was, juking ?urlacher in his prime was way way better :D.

Fully agree.

I just love after the play when Brady jumps up and shows the fire - - and the stadium went nuts (not unlike that Urlacher scramble).

This post is awesome.

Thanks for posting.

Watching the two clips at the same time is interesting; Tom Brady was never a Vick or RGIII, but the 2006 play is a lot more like a "scramble" than the 2012 play, which is more like an elongated, slow-mo slide. Awesome that he's still throwing his body around like that after 11 seasons in the NFL; you get a feeling that he'd like to do it a lot more if the D looks like it's giving him five or so yards, but he's way too smart to take the bait. Thank heaven!

And, yes, I am one of the wimps who held his breath Monday night until TB was safely on the ground and beyond that tackler's range. One run like that per season is enough for my cardiac health!

I wish Brady had a tad bit more ability to scramble. It would make him invincible.

nothing beats the urlacher juke..was at that game crowd went nuts

Question about spotting of the ball. I thought the rule is the ball is spotted where the QB starts his sliding motion and if so, Brady was short of the first down. Someone educate me?

Well that would be John Elway and other mortals like Randall Cunningham and Steve Young. All of them got beaten like a drum at times. It's a fact. There never has been an invincible QB and never will be.

Nice example of why he's great -- Brady is more psyched about succeeding at something he's not particularly good at (scrambling) than when he dazzles yet again at something he's known to be awesome at (passing).

Opposite of a prima donna.
