"Welcome to the Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance.

The Monday Night Football "da-da-da-daaaaa"

Oh, that was last night.

Olivia Newton John - Let's get physical

MetallicA...need I say more 10,000 watts of Pure angry Metal coming through 200 Gillette Stadium speakers....

Not really the intent of the thread, but from the first time I heard Aqib Talib's name, the song "Dream Police" by Cheap Trick would pop into my head. Just substitute "Aqib Talib" instead of "The Dream Police" in the song and it fits scarily well...though I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate this part:

Aqib Talib
They're coming to arrest me
Oh no!

Either This is our house by Bon Jovi or Thunderstruck by AC/CD.

U2 "Where The Streets Have No Name"

The National Anthem:rocker:

"Crazy Train" Ozzy gets me pumped and ready for football. "We Are The Champions" Queen makes me remember the 2001 season and how special that year was.

The National Anthem:rocker:
Hmmmmm...doubt they are gonna play the in the middle of the game....on a personal note.....It's questionable to me when a song that was written in the middle of an artillery barrage, that is suppose to represent the strength of our country, is sung like it was being preformed at a funeral. It is a powerful song and should be preformed as such. When the national anthem is sung like is was this past game...(The 5 min version) I honestly believe it does a bit of discredit to the song and what the author had intended it to be. Once again....It's a powerful song representing the power of a nation....performers "Putting their own twist to it"..yes you too Mr. Steven Tyler, is bothersome me. You wanna sing a 5 min version of a song representing the beauty and diversity of our country..sing "God Bless America" or "America The Beautiful".....just sayin'

Yes! EVERY time I hear that song I see that SB 36 Halftime show, with the 9/11 tribute. Goose bumps. Still chokes me up.

U2 Super Bowl halftime show 2002 - 9/11 tribute - YouTube

Take me back to that unbelievable weekend every time I see it. They were great. best halftime ever. When the names were projected on the screen and on us in the crowd, there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The Pats were 30 min. of football away from hoisting the Lombardi Trophy, and when U2 finished, I don't know that anyone cared. I know I was up for more U2.
