Never thought I would have to resort to rooting for them, but its a nesccesary evil this weekend!

Yes, have to root for them as well as the dolts.:DIts gonna be tough for the dolts though.

Why do you have to root for the Ravens to win? I understand the Colts. Pats win out the get at least the #2 seed.

What is your rationale for rooting for them?
Ravens have tougher last two games than Broncos.

Whoever wins this game would pass us if we lose one. If we do lose one we need the winner to lose one of the last two and the Ravens seem more likely to lose one.

So, yeah, Go Ravens and Go Colts. Always loved that horseshoe :bricks:

The Ravens will lose out. That defense sucks and is full of injuries. They fired Cam - good move...but promoted Caldwell - terrible move.

Because the after the Ravens the Broncos face both Cleveland and KC in Denver. That's one of the easiest close outs to date.

They have a shot. They are better at home, even though Denver is playing better right now. Sending Denver out 10-4 would give us some much appreciated breathing room.

Although the Browns are 5-3 since their 0-5 start. I don't expect them to beat Denver but the Browns aren't THAT bad.

Unless I'm missing something, a Ravens win gives the Pats breathing room for second seed. Pats and Broncs both 10-3, Ravens 9-4; so Balt win means they and Denver are both 10-4 -- 1 game behind Pats pending the Niners game. If Pats do lose vs SF, they win a 3-way tie with Denver and Baltimore (I think). Ravens also have a good chance of losing at least one more game (Giants, Cinci), while Denver has it pretty easy (Browns and Chiefs at home).

Part of a complicated puzzle that also includes hoping the Colts can give the Texans a second loss while Pats win out.

By the way, on the whole "rooting for" conundrum: I like to think of it as "rooting against," as in rooting against Denver and Houston, not for Baltimore and Indy. 2¢.

Cleveland is playing pretty well. 5-3 in their last 8 with wins over the Steelers, Bengals and Chargers. Only allowing 16.6 ppg in that stretch. They aren't going to lay down for Peyton. KC on the other hand...

@BAL, CLE, KC doesn't look that much easier than SF, @JAX, MIA.

That JAX game is a big time trap game. They need to watch out for that one.

Right now going into week 15. Pats need no help to get the #2 seed. That's all I care about. Just win out and you get a bye.

Italian race car driver when asked about small rear window:

Whatsa behind me, no matter.

I hope the Chiefs beat the Raiders is just as relevant if we beat the 49ers.

I say root for the Colts..If pats take care of business and texans lose one more the road to the superbowl goes through Foxboro no matter what the Broncos do

On the topic of playoff scenarios, if the Jets lose and Bengals win then the Jets are eliminated. :D

Buffalo is eliminated if they lose or the Bengals win, plus Pittsburgh wins.
Miami is eliminated if they lose or the Bengals win, plus Pittsburgh win.

And some say the AFC East is a weak division ....

And let's not forget that New England holds the tiebreaker over the Broncos as well as the Texans & Colts. :)

Purple is the color Sunday. Playoff scenarios make for strange bedfellows...
