The Boston Double O's

Old and Overpaid...... that's our team.

They like to talk abou their farm system, but just when a guy is about
to develop, we trade him for some overpriced veteran relief pitcher.

I am tired of signing...... Mediocre ..... Overpaid..... Old veterans.
Victorino....... no thanks
Gomes...... Will help if we have a fight.
Napoli..... A catcher who is too old to catch....

Yup..... Let's call them the Boston Double O's.

I hate this offseason.

This will be the first time in a long time that there is no hope of contending for a playoff spot before the season even starts. I was going to go to spring training but I'm skipping it...not spending my money on a team that can't even pretend to be anything more than mediocre.

How about Dec 16th....

The sox sign Ryan Dempster to a 2 year - 26.5 million dollar contract.
Dempster will be 36 on May 3rd and he had a 5.09 era in the American
league last year.

This guy is an old Matt Clement.

The Boston Double O's, strike again.

Would be great if Boston could hire Bill as president for all Boston sports and let his philosophy permeate the four teams

What a stark difference the Patriots are from the other three franchises

What do the guys call it....JAG? Just another guy? meh. This guy's like a #4 starter. 36 years old...maybe they are counting on him to get by on old man guile.

So what does that make the Yankees? Broken ankles, bad hips....

I hear less complaints from a nursing home.

after the pats season is over. its going to be a sports waste land for boston fans thats for sure. no hockey. the celtics look average at best and the sox are going no where fast. :(. what a shame.

The best we can hope for is Dempster is half decent and a NL team wants
him for prospects at the trading deadline.

There is always a market for pitching at the trade deadline.
If he has only 1 remaining year, we may be able to land a prospect.

Then again... with this management we will probably be 11 out and they still will probably be trading our best two prospects for R.A. ****ey at the trade
deadline.

So...?

Ryan Demptser=Matt Clement

At this point in time one has to wonder what the duo of Farrell and Cherrington are doing with the Red Sox? The roster looks awful (even for a bridge year).

It's as if they do not have a plan. "Ok, it's free agency, let's go sign guys."

They are spending short term money and I can deal with that the Sox will be in the bottom but it's the Jays turn to screw with the Yankees.

Jays
Yanks

Rays

O's
Sox
