I'm at my office trying to put in a full-days work before a Memorial Mass I have to attend at 5PM (Central) tonight before the game. I have 98.5 on the iPhone (via TuneIn radio app). Having a hard time concentrating on my work. A defendant in a major case just made a halfway decent settlement offer, and I'm almost ready to tell him, 'I'll call you tomorrow.'

Anyone else having trouble working today?

I need to write my company a check for this lost afternoon. I am effectively useless. Well, more useless than normal...

Tomorrow's Memorial mass will be for the Texans.

I worked the day shift today and I found that the anticipation of the game made the day go by faster.

This isn't the Super Bowl or playoff game and the Pats are in the postseason win or lose.....nothing to keep me from normal activity.

Now ask me about the day after SB 42 and you have a different story :bricks:

While I keep telling myself this, tonight's game does have some intangible importance that I can't quite keep from bothering me. We could learn a lot about this team in this game, for better or for worse. And while it may not be a Super Bowl or mean much with statistical significance, I can't write off what this game potentially reveals about this year's Patriots. I think that is why I am a little nervous about this game. While it is seemingly meaningless, it is potentially very revealing.

Yeah I had trouble working today, but luckily I'm a government employee and no one could tell the difference.

Sunday and Monday are my unavailable days at work. So I tend to not miss games. :rocker:

I would be heartbroken If I had to miss the game!

Knew better than to even try and decided to burn a vacation day.

That's what I should have done, I was messing up stuff....way to distracted....manager not to pleased.

I have a final in 2 days and 28 pages to write by Friday and I'm having trouble concentrating... Man this is tough haha

I actually was quite focused today, but I saved some work last week for today knowing if I was kept busy it would go faster.

But dinner has been eaten, my boys have had their baths and my wife and I did the dishes...now i am anxious for this game to get underway! My wife is taking a nap because she goes to work at 4am and wants to watch the game. NO WAY could I sleep right now like her.

If he's a Patriots fan, what's his problem? If he's not, tell him to get with the program. ;)

Thanks to my college student schedule, I've been able to sleep in on Sundays, giving me just enough time to go grab food and then watch the game. Didn't have that luxury today. I've been wired all day. Oh, and I have an exam tomorrow. If the Pats lose this game, there will probably be no studying.

I have to work tonight for this game so thankfully I am able to work from home for it!

Going to make the few hours of work less productive,:singing::singing:

I thought I was reading 'Twas the night before Christmas for a second there. :p

Oh god yes, I was useless at work today.

I hear ya. Been up since 4 am and I needed a nap but was afraid I'd oversleep. Had alarm set, and 2 people to wake me up to make sure I'm up. I let them know: "DO NOT let me sweet talk you into letting me sleep more, I have a game tonight!"

Drinking coffee now. Ready to go!:D
