I wish the NFL would allow teams to choose individualized away jerseys.

It they did, I would definitely love to have our white Away replaced with the AFC Throwbacks and this white helmet.

Looks lousy.

I absolutely love it. Wish that would be on the field.

I love it! Sign me up for that one. That white helmet with the red new logo jersey that someone created on this site; it's a winner.

I like the helmet with Brady's head in it.

Or these...
(Worn only once in the loss to McDaniels in Denver in 2010. 2010 was AFL throwback year. Teams wore theirs 4 times. Twice at home & twice away. The other away game was Miami, so Pats wore the reds for the 3rd time that year. Denver was the only opportunity to show the full whites and they were gorgeous.)

Tunes, I'll forever be miffed on why a guy such as you, who's forever stuck in the 70's, doesn't love The Pats unis from that era. :)

Red = losing tradition. It also doesn't fit a team named "Patriots" who fought a war against invaders in red uniforms. Orthwein did the franchise a favor switching to blue.

Love it!!
Have always disliked the silver helmets. Also don't like the blue jersey/silver pant home unis at all.
Would love that flying Elvis on white helmet look with the current road unis and a return to the red home jerseys.

LOVE IT! Those are actually VERY similar to the helmet design I came up with and sent to Kraft...which was then returned to me with a note stating that they didnt accept outside ideas:(

Thanks for stating what should be obvious to any that can take of the rose colored glasses.

Yes, I rooted for Grogan. Take off the rose colored glasses and remember the chants for Owen and Cavanaugh.

Red and Pat patriot should be shelved and only brought out at "special" times - like in London.:)

Yeah, these beauties from '93. Yikes. Don't forget that year's pants with the sci-fi stripes on the sides. I do think they should revert back to silver pants for the current away unis tho. The blue pants with the tacky stripe motif are unflattering.

I dunno Tunes, I'm still partial to my Sears Roebuck Steve Grogan #14 from when I was in Junior High in '79. I took a lotta noogies going between classes for wearing it. I took my lumps for wearing my team's color.

And it was red, obscure 200 year old inaccuracy or not. And this whole losing tradition thing is more urban myth than fact. Just check yearly win-loss records at Pro Football Reference. I see a 70's-80's streak of 11 consecutive years with only one losing season.
I know you were there and everything. I guess it comes down to perception. You know, kinda how Yes freaks can't listen to crude & plodding ELP. lol. Eye (& ear) of the beholder and stuff.
I remember Those Pats as being pretty darned good. Just perennially stuck behind The Fins in the division is all.

Don't take it personal. 99% of businesses do that so they can't be sued by people claiming they stole my idea.

Awesome! Flying Elvis on the white helmet would look great on the field. Why hasn't the team done this. It would good either home or away.
