I'll probably keep changing, as we inch closer to the NFL Draft. But this is as of now on how I can see it go.

1. Oakland Raiders - JaMarcus Russell QB LSU

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Gaines Adams DE Clemson
5. Arizona Cardinals - Joe Thomas OT Wisconsin
6. Washington Redskins - Alan Branch DT Michigan
7. Minnesota Vikings - Jamal Anderson DE Arkansas
8. Houston Texans - Adrian Peterson RB Oklahoma
9. Dolphins - Amobi Okoye DT Louisville
10. Atlanta Falcons Leon Hall CB Michigan
11. San Fransisco 49ers - Tedd Ginn Jr. WR Ohio State
12. Buffalo Bills - Dwayne Jarrett WR USC
13. NY Giants (trade with Rams) - Marshawn Lynch RB California
14. Carolina Panthers - Adam Carricker DE Nebraska

I've never heard of Hughes and that seems a little high for Harris. Would the Pats really pass on Poz in favor of Harris? Humm. Combine will change a lot of rankings of course.

Poz is overrated. Harris is a very good pick but hesn ot a round 1 player..hes round 2.

i like Timmons over him in round 1 though cuz we can get harris in 2 easily..especially u trading up for him? noooo

here are my picks:
1a. Willis/Timmons - whoever falls
1b. Chris Houston - arkansas CB

I'd be delighted if we got both harris and hughes.

What about Siler? He's my #1 ILB. Also, Houston doesn't have the ball skills to be a #1 CB IMO. Great cover guy, though. Just not a playmaker...

Siler had a somewhat dissapointing season..not as good as he was expected to have but it could be b/c the talent around him, i havent watched film to determine if the D is just really good and hes going with flow or if others are just better than him on the d.

i dont think hes first round material..hes like Jeramiah Trotter imo. id like to get him..depends how he runs, weighs but its a little early for me to call him a first rounder

Houston is a beast..hes going to be a suprise first round pick..no 1 has talked about him really but i think hes going to be 1 of the best corners from this draft

ball skills? 2 INTs 12 passes defended .. you dont need to be a 5 pick guy in college to have good ball skills
he versed some great players from
USC
South Carolina
Tenn
LSU
Florida
Wisconsin
Auburn

I believe after the Senior Bowl, Harris moved into round 1. Based on the ILB's the Pats have, he would be a great fit, because his style fits in their defensive scheme.

Timmons is purely an WLB. New England needs a an ILB, not an WLB.

Good choices in terms of players who have the potential to fit within the Patriots' system, perhaps not the best round one values, but that's a minor point.

Of course as I mentioned, it is only February 3rd. It will probably look different in April, when I have more info, such as combines, and other stuff, but it is as of now. 1st round mocks are not easy to do.

From what I can tell, the latter part of the first round will be very average with teams taking guys likely with second round grades. I'd love to trade out and get a first round pick next year for one - hoping for a bad year from who we trade with - but if we use the 24 and 28 picks I wouldn't be shocked with Mankins like picks; players who seem like a reach on draft day but end up being good players. 28 seems high for Harris but if they can't trade out, I could see him being that kind of pick. Although trading up for Harris seems a little unlikely.

Yep, from a Pats' perspective, which is all I really have time to pay attention to, it was a very good first mock - you should repost it in the draft forum and come play the measurables game with our draftniks.

I have it as if the Pats don't trade up, the Saints would nab him, because he would fit well with their defensive scheme as well. Philly will take Siler, no matter what. Timmons is only an WLB, but if the Pats move up, the Saints will take Timmons, because Siler does not fit their type of player for their defense.

It's basically a nitpick on my part as moving up 2 spots wouldn't cost that much. But I still wouldn't trade up for Harris, I think he's a bit of a reach at 28 (one I'd be fine with) and not a guy I'm so desperate for that I'd trade up for.

Have you seen Fred Thomas try to play cb? Their lb's aren't the greatest. But, Thomas got lit up like a XMAS Tree and they need a cb first. Not sure Harris runs well enough to be a MLB in a 4-3. I think he fits the 3-4 better. Not as many pass coverage responsibilities in our defense.

It is too early for the draft for me. However, here goes. I never heard of Harris. I would choose Siler or Poz. I don't think it likely that we pick a LB in the first round.

I also think that given this board, that we would pick on the wideouts.

I believe after the Senior Bowl, Harris moved into round 1.
Based upon what? If anything, Patrick Willis solidified himself as a first round pick based on the Senior Bowl performance not David Harris. David Harris is a second round draft pick and New England Patriots organization hardly ever reaches in the first round.

The Patriots would be more likely to trade down than trade up in the first round, especially if the New England Patriots organization feels the value is not there.

One thing I can tell you is that Marv Levy is not going for a wide receiver in the first round. They've already talked about this up here. They really like their 4 receivers, and they need a lot of help elsewhere.

As for Paul Poz, he's underrated in my book. I see him as being just as good as AJ Hawk and I'm laughing at the fact that people like Kiper have downgraded him into 2nd round material.

How do know that for a fact? If anything this scenario is more likely:

With Donte Stallworth expected to test free agency, the Eagles will likely be in the market for another playmaking wideout. Though coach Andy Reid prefers not to take receivers in the first round, an early run on the position could leave the second and third rounds lacking talent. Robert Meachem might be a top 15 pick in most drafts.

I was told that Reggie Brown will be the number 1 WR, he was their 1st round pick of 2 years ago. Plus, Jeramiah Trotter is getting up their in age, and the media has talked about they have seen that he has been showing signs of age based on his play.
