To the guy (sorry I can't recall the name of the poster) that used to create the threads about who we need to root for week in and week out: Please create those threads again! I found them very informative! Last week on a couple of games I wasn't sure who I should have been rooting for, but in the past I was prepared and knew who to cheer due to this posters' well researched weekly post. I miss those threads, please bring them back!!

It's a lot less exciting now that we don't have to worry about the Pats' extra picks. All that really matters now is AFC seeding and probably the Giants not making the playoffs.

But as a summary:
Root for any team that plays the Texans, Broncos, or Ravens.
The week 15 game between the Broncos and Ravens will come down to quite a few factors. I'll be able to give a better idea of who we want to win after next Monday.

Yes but, this poster used to also tell us who to root for to prevent the other teams in our division from reaching the playoffs. That was gold!

And yeah yeah, to those that will say to me to always root for everyone in our division to reach the playoffs as that shows our division is the best... suk it. I can never root for the bills/dolfins/jets to do good.

It's not always crystal clear who to root for because there are so many different possible scenarios and you never truly know how things might play out. Now it's probably a little more clear though. Here's the ones I know for sure to hope for:

Oakland over Denver
Washington over Baltimore
NO over NYG but that's just because I like seeing them lose

The games like Cincy-Dallas, Indy-TEN and Steelers-Chargers basically boils down to who you'd prefer to see get in as a WC. Those ones I usually stay away from because they're not going to affect our seedings and I think it's wise to be careful what you wish for.

I always hope that games of this sort go to overtime so as to "tenderize" the participants as much as possible :p

We all should be the biggest, temporary Redskins fans sunday afternoon...:rocker:

What's funny about this whole process is that rooting interest change as you get closer to the goal. It's called "rolling wave planning" in project management. For example, a couple of weeks ago I was thinking that I would be rooting for Denver in next week's showdown with Baltimore. Now I'm inclinded to go the other way given Denver's relatively easy schedule and Baltimore's relatively hard schedule. In any case, it's GO RAIDERS tonight.

Two of those games on there have a very good chance of happening. Washington is on a roll right now and Baltimore is reeling. The Saints have always owned the Giants. As for the Raiders over the Broncos, hope in one hand...

It is a divisional game so I'm hoping that gets the Raiders up for it. A Denver loss tonight would be so helpful, especially since it's looking more and more like Denver will beat Baltimore in a couple weeks. And yes, the other two games there is alot of reason to be confident on our end.

Tenderize would be a good safe term here

Root for the Jets.....Viva La Sanchez......too eternity and beyond

The Ravens schedule is ugly in the home stretch ... They will lose to RG3..
We need for the Ravens to show up and take down the Broncos, and then lose to either the Giants or Bengals.

Broncos have a cake walk to the post season - hopefully an upset is looming - The donkeys are not good against teams with a winning record so they will lose on the road to Baltimore.

The Texans go down on Monday night - And will lose one against Luck.

PATS handle their business and run the table, and lock up the 1 seed

Worst case scenarios PATS get 3 or 4 seed and go on the road to Denver in 2nd round.

Root for Dallas. Every Dallas win further convinces Jerry Jones he actually knows what he's doing!

Losing has never seemed to stop him either though, ha!

Not asking, don't tell about the other

Good luck with that! :D I wouldn't waste your time.

Oakland is playing for their coach at home... stranger things have happened...

OK, maybe wishful thinking, but I need to convince myself that the game is worth watching..... :D
