I was hoping that they would show Lloyd being open instead of nit picking a ref's call.

If they are going to do that, instead of whining about one missed call for the Fins, they should show all the missed calls.

Just came across this. It's a great breakdown by Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post with a ton of screenshots from the coaches film looking at a lot of the missed opportunities for both teams.

Coaches Film: Breaking down the key plays and trends of Miami Dolphins’ 23-16 loss to New England Patriots | The Daily Dolphin

Great stuff....real football talk instead of who deserves MVP after week 13 (guilty).
The still photos confirm what I thought I was seeing on the boob tube.

First, Talib lacks acceleration and it has been more than apparent for 3 games. WRs easily gain a few steps when Talib turns his hips.

Second, the Patriots have yet to figure out whose responsibility it is to cover releasing TEs and RBs. I call it the coin flip defense. Flip a coin to see if we cover the TE or RB....then hope the QB doesn't find the wide open other guy. Verses Miami, I can understand that the defense is essentially spying both Bush and the mobile Tannehill. And when play action is part of the equation, the likelihood of a breakdown gets multiplied.

Looking ahead to the Houston game, I fear the play action is gonna hurt NE badly and Daniels will be roaming free while the LBs have their focus on Foster. Schaub isn't Tannehill and Andre Johnson isn't Hartline. The Flying Elvii need to tighten this thing up. I'm expecting a shootout Monday...similar to the Baltimore game

Or he was playing press coverage and expecting safety help on top.

He let the WR release to the inside so no doubt he hoped for safety help...but if you get a chance to key in on Talib, he's slow to get up to speed. The pros and cons of a big DB

The writer for the Palm Beach Post did a great job with this extensive photo analysis. The PatsFans authors should consider similar features instead of the rehash articles they continue to post on topics already thoroughly over analyzed by the board
