For **** sake!

Fck me. This team is cursed.

Terrible. The ST hit is huge and immediate impact on offense is significant. However, as long as Ridley-Gronk-Hern-Lloyd-Welker are healthy for the playoffs, I'm not that concerned about WR3

Damn, the last few weeks he's been a playmaker, I hope he is back next year

That sux. He was just starting to break out of his shell. Will certainly be interesting to see how his contract talks go with us for next season.

I hope he choses to re-up here as being a QB in college I feel he still has room for improvement and it would be a shame to see this teams work to convert him be to the benefit of his next team. But at the same time his production would lead me not to want to go to crazy with a deal. Also hopefully Welker is resolved before this decision is due.

Can't say I'm shocked. Foot injuries don't heal fast. It's the NFL, we need someone to step up.

Disappointing. Valuable guy for punt returns, and he had been carving out a unique niche as a receiver, independent from Welker. Too bad, but I hope he returns next year.

I know we just signed Stallworth but I think we might be looking around for punt returners

Stallworth can handle punt returns

Frustrating. Reiss points out he's a free agent this year too, so bad luck for him. Just as he seemed to be really putting it together.

Remember that absurd glut of receivers in camp? Forever ago.

Welker has typically been Jules back up over the last few years but personally I would prefer someone else do it and in training camp Stallworth was getting plenty of work at PR which I found interesting because of his straightline speed I would have thought of him more as KR but I believe through most of camp he was getting what would amount to 3rd string reps at the spot behind Jules and Wes. I also think Bolden was getting some work at PR in TC as well.

Another reason why the resigning of Welker is detrimental to this team. I love Edleperson, he's really showing us how good he can be. Welker's toughest and ability to stay on the field is amazing, simply amazing.

Sucks! He was starting to show that big play ability at PR that makes him a difference on this team. And even making plays on offense. This is going to hurt but hopefully we find someone else who can make an impact in the return game. We're likely going to need a boost at some point in the postseason, Edelman was able to do that in both '09 and '10 playoff games.

Re-signing Welker would be detrimental?

Man, that's harsh.

Feck this fecking feck.

Unbelievable.

Christ on a bike.

Big loss. He's been the most improved player this year. so starts the How much and for how long he's re-upped next year conversation.
