OT - Patriots Merch in NY City

First off, apologies for putting this on the main board, but I didn't know where else to put it.

I'm sure there are some NY people on here that could help me out finding places in New York City that sells Patriots jerseys (hopefully the Chelsea or below Central Park area). I basically have someone there and want to pick up a Nike Limited jersey. I would order it online but I pay an arm and a leg for shipping it up here.

If anyone can help it would be great appreciated!

I would check out Niketown on 57th St. or Paragon Sporting Goods on Bway and 18th St. Those are the likely places to shop for out of town teams.

The other box retailers(Modells/Sports Auth) will carry mostly Jet/Giant gear.

I live in the city and get all my gear from the Pats shop on line.

Truth to tell, with Eli and Revis and Tebow and (even) Sanchez (and now McElroy) in the local market, plus a lot of demand for vintage Namath, LT, Strahan and Simms jerseys, I haven't seen many genuine Pats jerseys around (you can probably find T shirts).

If I absolutely had to find Pats gear in Manhattan, I'd Google the Sports Authority and Modells (unless, of course, you're a Browns' fan, in which case you would never set foot in Modells) and find some local stores. Paragon has stuff on their web page, but I'd call the store to be sure they stock it in Manhattan; I doubt the foot traffic demand is that great.

Good catch on Niketown, since its their logo. I'd call Paragon first to be sure they stock Pats stuff, thought.

Hopefully I luck out since the 6 jerseys I already have aren't good enough.

Sorry, I doubt any Modells in NYC carry any Patriot jersey, or for the matter any Pats merchandise, because I couldn't find any Pats stuff in their three branches I visited recently in downtown, on Lex and 86th, and one more in Jersey City.

I might head to West village later this week and will try to stop over @ Paragon and see if they have any stuff.

Just an aside, but I spent Saturday in Manhattan and some of the gear I noticed people wearing were, a great many NYY hats as expected, about a couple dozen or so Giants outerwear, TWO Jets jackets, one each Patriots and Red Sox outerwear.

I did not wear any NEP/BRS gear this time.
