Good article, Ian, with some great info.

However, you may want to FIX THE FONT! :)

Which Font? You'll have to grab a screenshot and let me know - I've heard this a few times this morning and can't seem to see what you guys are seeing?

I tried by cutting and pasting, but that doesn't show the font - - it just pastes as normal font. I don't know how to copy a screenshot. If you give me directions, I'll be happy to do it.

Save the screenshot in Paint or something then upload it to imgur/imageshack/photobucket etc then on here on advanced reply click the image icon to the left of quote and insert the link of the uploaded screenshot.

last time I checked, the pats offense is banged up too.......

Thanks shmessy. Hit the "prt sc" button (print screen) and then open up "Paint" and paste it - then save it and attach it in a reply here so I can see it.

Very true - but I was just looking to put together a quick look at the Texans for an entry and noticed they're dinged up quite a bit defensively. Read Kubiak's Monday conference call where he was going over their injuries and they're dealing with their own fair share of issues. I thought it was interesting how Kubiak was fairly forthcoming with both the injuries and who would have been on Welker. Should be interesting to see what they do next Monday night.

Font looks fine to me
:)

And to make things tougher for the Pats, the Texans signed Stanford Routt... Though Routt was having a bad year for the Chiefs, a change of scenery and a different team attitude could make a world of difference.

If you are running Windows 7 or Windows 8

Press the windows button type 'snipping' hit enter

Snipping tool will come up you can drag a box around what you want to screenshot, save it and then upload to imgur.com and copy the link.

The Patriots team on both sides of the ball is pretty banged up. No sympathy for the Texans. I would have loved to see how they would have defended both Gronk and Hernandez....

By batting the ball out of the air at the line of scrimmage?

It's worked for us a lot this year.

Here you go Ian.

Interesting, that gives me a lot more to go off of because that's not supposed to render that way. I'll see if I can troubleshoot that and take care of it. What browser are you using when that happens so I can test it on my end?

The Texan's D is banged up, but I'm not overly concerned with McCain being out. He wasn't having a great year anyway. Harris looked pretty OK Sunday against the Flaming Thumbtacks and is more physical than McCain along with usually keeping tighter coverages.
Routt could be a big assett down the stretch. He was a pretty good cover CB in Oakland and he's fast. IMHO, the Chiefs asked him to do things, in a zone scheme, that he's simply not very good at. Kinda like Asomough in Philly. He went from best cover corner (unless you like Revis more) in the league to total schmuck in one season.

The loss of Cushing is the biggest blow we have to overcome, but we've been getting betterand better at the LB positions since he was injured.
Moving Barwin back to his natural position at SAM will also help. He's very atheletic, does well in open space and seems to understand the coverages better than Reed.

Having said all of that, I'm sooooo glad I don't have to see how Wade would scheme to stop Gronk. Or slow him down. Or keep him at less than 3 TD's.

I think I pinpointed the issue and fixed the tag that was broken across all of them. Please test it now and see if it's still rendering that way for you and let me know :)

Bingo! That's it!

1) The Cushing loss is a big blow - but I'm impressed with how they have persevered without him. That being said, 37 points at home to the Jagwires? Really??? This was followed by 31 points to the Lions, before righting the ship last week.

2) Regarding Gronk - - if the two teams meet in the playoffs, not having any experience against him might not be a plus for the Texans. The real bene for the Texans this week and if they meet in the playoffs is not having to deal with the Swiss Army Knife that was Julian Edelman. Before injury, he was fast becoming the X-Factor.
