Being told that barring a setback, the #Patriots expect Chandler Jones to return to action Monday vs Texans #patriotstalk

Good timing. With all the injuries on offense, the defense may have to steal one for us on Monday. Be nice to have Chandler back to hassle Schaub.

Great news if true. I was a bit surprised that Jones wasn't back for Miami, and wonder if the team was being cautious with him. The other guys have stepped up, but having Jones will be a huge plus.

Not surprise.I thought they where holding him out for this game.I hope there is not setbacks.

Given his job, I find it interesting that Giardi blocks his tweets.

now. no more injuries. PLEASE

Great news. Wonder what the status of Gronk/Mankins will be.

Higly doubt we'll se Gronk this week. Yes he would definitely help, but no rushing his injury. Rest him till postseason if that's what it takes for him to get 100%.

I've been confused on Mankins status. It seems like the past several weeks he's been questionable and doesn't play. Is he near getting back on the field??

I disagree. If the risk of re-breaking the arm isn't too significant, then I'd rather see Gronk back on the field in the regular season. When someone hasn't seen any in-game action in well over a month, there will be some rust. Better that he knock off that rust in a regular season game, rather than the postseason.

That's how I feel, though I'm no orthopedist. But it seems unlike a knee or ankle injury where coming back early could set you back. Sooner he can get back the better.

Yeah I have no idea on Mankins. Plus he played through an ACL tear last year so you never know when he'll truly be 100%. I'd rather him rest as long as possible.

Before we get too optimistic about Jones, lets wait for the injury reports toward the end of the week...

I wasn't saying he shouldn't play till postseason, I was saying if that's what it takes for him to get healthy, then we should be patient. We probably will be just fine without him in our last 2 games, so there's no need to push it.

welcome back jones!
well with jones back and trevor scott stepping up a bit, I think we'll be able to come up with some passrush.
And we will NEED it against a texans offense that features andre johnson.

He'll have his hands full with Duane Brown this week.

I was thinking the Same thing and its also nice to have Rob Nickovich in the rotation too.

I agree with your agreement, A broken wrist can be supported and a light cast can strenghten it further. Its certainly not like a knee, its pretty straight forward. Over the years we've all seen players play with casts.

I agree with your agreement of my agreement. Get back soon Gronk!

Anyone has any input on how good/bad the Texans' O-line is.... from what I've seen, I can't recall seeing Schaub in a horizontal position... Seems he's been having some pretty good protection in the pocket.
