October 2007, in Dallas. Both teams were undefeated. We put up over 40 points on them.

Phillips was the HC then.

Instead of Watt, they had a young(er) DeMarcus Ware.

And the douche Phillips had the nerve after the game to say 'the best team didn't win.'

And the bigger douche Patrick Crayton had even more nerve to say that the Cowboys would be seeing the Patriots again that season, IF the Patriots made it all the way to the Super Bowl.

Remember?

I remember Wade Phillips saying that their goal on D was to stop the Patriots run game and make Tom Brady win it with his arm.

Now THAT'S funny. I just remember that flummoxed look on his face all the time.

Expect Brady to be ZONED in for this game . . .

They did hold Brady to 5 TD passes...

What's a "Wade Wilson Defense" eh?

I remember that. Against the Giants in the divisional round (Dallas had a bye) Romo threw an interception on 4th down with under a minute to go to cough up the victory. That extended the Cowboys streak without a playoff win to eleven years and tied the NFL record of 6 straight playoff games lost. Dorks.

Someone once described Wade Phillis as the fan from the stands who won the 'coach for a day' contest.

Guys, please stop with the c0c4y comments. While Wade Philips is surely a douche, he’s most definitely not the one who’s going to be pass-rushing Brady this coming Sunday.

J.J. Watt & Co. still scares me, and if our O-line will perform like they just did in Miami, we’re in deep 5hit. In Miami, we may have faced a tough defense, but we also faced a 5hit offense so our Defense kept the score in check. This time around, while their offense is not New England-par per say, they can hold their own, especially against our pours secondary.

I’d be ok with being c0c4y had the Pats were healthy. But without Gronk, Ahern less than 100%, Edelman out, questionable Jones, no Cunningham, most likely no Connoly, banged up Vollmer, and banged up Mankins…. I’m not too thrilled….

… and let’s not forget Lloyd, who’s been pretty much non-existent of late.

Not a hater, just a little modesty won’t hurt. Definitely wouldn’t want to jinx this game given what’s at stake.

This will be a good game. Here are my supporting thoughts and why I am worried.

- Do not compare Wade's record to Brady as a HC, but rather a DC. There is a big difference.
- This is a match up of the best offense, Pats, in the NFL and the 6th ranked defense.
- Conversely, this is a match up of the 4 best offense, Texans, and the 27th ranked defense, Pats.
- Pats are .500 in games with team with a winning record today with losses at Seattle and Baltimore, Texans are .750 with a loss vs. Greenbay

Point differential :

Patriots +170
Texans +130

Still good for the Texans but you're playing loose with your numbers there suggesting they've been the better team so far this year.

Man, what a year. That game was great. People forget that our defense actually played well that game, and for most of the year. I still can't believe we lost that SB.

Sobering Fact:

Nobody has ever scored a Point ~ a single point!! ~ on a Wade Wilson Defense.

@$$Hole.

I was in the front row of one of the endzones for that game. Great seats though most of the Pats scoring happened on the other end. Moss made one nasty catch by us but he was out of the corner of the end zone and I think we settled for 3 on that drive. And there was a real cool defensive series in front of us where we had them pinned. We almost go the safety on Marion Barber but he shook like 8 tackles in the endzone and wound up with the nastiest 2 yard gain ever (sucked for us though).

Why do you want them to stop with the comments?

I'm getting pretty sick of these scary Mary little turds telling everybody what to do and how to be a fan on these threads...YOU want to be a little chicken little no guts whiner, fine...allow others to feel however THEY want...if anybody took you little cowards seriously the past ten years, the Pats would be the JETS.

How are these numbers:
Texans: 11-1
Patriots: 9-3
The Texans have been the better team this year. They are in clear first in our conference! This will be a tough game, we can win it for sure, but it will be tough either way. Our passing game has taken a big hit w/the loss of Edelman, Lloyed effectively invisible, Gronk out, our O-line a shambles. Against one of the best defenses in the league. If you aren't scared, your knife needs sharpening.

Whoa.... slow down there buddy.... don't get your panties all tied up in ONE knot...

Some of the comments here are exactly what outsider fans think of us Pats fans - ****y douchbags. Speaking of the Jets... trash talking BEFORE the game is EXACTLY what the Jets fans are expert at. I personally, would rather not have anything in common with that green garbage. I'd rather take the high road, have my piece of humble pie, and keep the trash talk until AFTER the game. Because until we actually win this game, all we are doing is making a55hats out of ourselves should our 'FANTASTIC' defense takes a dump on the field, and we end up losing the game.

Got that, TURD? :bricks:
