On having the 17th game of his career with 10 plus receptions, He is now tied with Jerry rice for most all time :rocker::rocker::rocker:

Wes never ceases to amaze. He's almost like a second quarterback in the way he plays the game.

And he's so incredibly competent as a punt returner.

But how in god's name does his body hold up??

I think this record is just slightly better

Welker (12 receptions for 103 yards) set the NFL record for most games with 10 or more catches and 100 ore more yards. With his 16th such performance, Welker moved ahead of Rice and Houston’s Andre Johnson (15).

Please sign Wes, please.........

Mixed on this. Stats like these will make it harder to retain him this offseason. Every stat like this he gets, the more expensive he gets.

He's making his money the old fashioned way. He's earning it. No excuses. Sign him.

whats the line on keeping him next year?

we're in doo doo if we don't. IMHO.

I also like that one better, although records have become skewed because of all of the rule changes and changes in the way the game is played.

I honestly don't think Welker cares much about the records and only wants to win, just like Tommy LomBrady. That's another thing that makes him special.

I sure hope he stays. He is one tough SOB.

Any time you can be mentioned as being on the same level of Jerry Rice, you know that's special.

While that is probably true, he has to know that TB makes him better and it comes down to his motivation of cash vs wins/SB opportunities. Though this last offseason would speak volumes to where his mind is at.

I think if u ask welker about yesterday, he'd tell u he dropped a wide open td. Still, amazing production from a supposedly nobody.
