Good to see he can run backwards as quickly as he can run forward.

Sorry. Not buying it.

For me to say they probably get it from their head coach, that may be not true. I don't know that for sure.

This statement is nothing more than CYA. He isn't admitting that he was wrong, he is carefully crafting a way to ease the tension a little while still maintaining his original position.

Typical, ungracious in victory as well as in defeat. Pretty proud of your boy Belichick today are you? I guess it's ok for your boy to pressure a young man into something that ended up causing permanent problems for the rest of his life. Of course Belichick apologists will be out in force today defending blindly, as usual. It will be interesting to see how this all turns out. I'm thinking he'll be OK as long as he keeps winning.

Eff him. He's had almost three weeks to fix it, and he comes out with he "may" have been wrong? That's a non-apologetic apology if I ever saw one.

How about if you go to a Charger board ? Wow, that's an idea.

On the Johnson thing, he chose to play 3 more years after the incident he complained about. His choice. He could have retired. What's Belichick supposed to do with a player who chooses not to retire ?

Regarding Tomlinson, he's trying to retreat from his BS crap. He's the ungracious one, not me.

Oh yeah, he really needs to CYA. NFL Man of the Year despite his statement after the game.

Just thought some Pats fans would like to hear what LT said.

I guess by your statement you agree with the behavior Bill is accused of?

Wow you schooled me there  Ask Rodney Harrison about how the Patriots treat players compared to the Chargers.

Well there's another thread or two for this.

The exact actions ? Based on one man's statements, I don't even know what happened. But you can't just milk a concussion forever. Either you're OK to play and get paid or you're not OK to play and you retire.

Pathetic come back. So you believe what Belichick is accused of doing is OK because of the way the Chargers handled Rodney? In my opinion, the Chargers mishandled Rodney. That guy was an organisation guy all of the way and the Chargers screwed him. That doesn't excuse Belichick if Ted Johnson's allegations are proven true.

I have nothing against LDT. I think he is a great, great player and I am well aware of the good deeds that he does off of the field. I just call it like I see it. The only thing I get out of this is "I shouldn't have said that to the press."

He went on to say that he would apologise to Bill B at the Pro Bowl.

As well he should. Tomlinson showed no class after the Chargers loss.

Disagree. Johnson was on the active roster. Belichick said he was "seeing if he could play". If Johnson was that bad off he should have walked off the field and asked to be put on IR. And if he still couldn't play the next year he should have retired. He showed up as a player so Belichick was seeing if he could play.

OK, this is a good post. There is still alot to be learned about this and I don't know all of the answers either. We'll see. I don't have time to go through the other threads to participate in that conversation. I only came back here to post about LT and what he said. I can see how you would consider it a non apology or insincere. I really didn't come here looking for a fight. See you next season, eh?

too little, too late. LT still needs to prove to me that he is as "classy" as he says he is.
