Does it really matter? The O line never seems to take a step back due to injuries.

In the case of Seabass, i think there´s a different.
Seabass is an pro-bowl-candidate, clearly IMO.
And after the Indy-game(with Mathis on his side) Seabass injury report was changing from back/angle to back/knee.

Don´t get me wrong. Cannon played very good against the Jets, but the Jets have no good passrush.

Miami, 49ers, Texans are all Top12 in sacks.

Maybe Vollmer will be inactive against Miami. Cannon is starting RT with massive TE help. It could work. Fins have no good backfield.

But against 49ers and Texans, i prefer Vollmer instead of Cannon.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

Yes, because you're just one step closer to relying on your 3rd string if those 2 aren't playing. Don't care what team we're facing, that's not a situation i ever want to see protecting Brady.

Let's not go too crazy with the O-line praise. It took several steps back due to injury in the Cardinals game. Also, Brady has needed to do a lot more moving in the pocket this year than he has in most recent seasons.

Yes injuries did cause the OL to take a step back vs the Cardinals. Interesting DI that you need to go back to mid September to find a reason to bring us your daily ration of negativity.

Miami, Houston and SF all feature top pass-running schemes and players.

I never like to see Vollmer not playing because he is so freaking effective. It would be so great if he could put his back woes behind him. A healthy Vollmer and a steady and improving Solder makes for arguably the best tackles in football.....

Also, I really want to see Vollmer extended. He's great to watch snuffing out pass rushers with his size and nimbleness of foot.... He's just beastly!
