Just saw it mentioned on Comcast Sportsnet per Mike Giardi but he apparently left without signing....

I don't understand the love for Stallworth. He's been washed up for a while, and he was in camp, so it isn't like they don't know what's left in the tank. Isn't Gaffney available? Why do we need another WR anyway? Does this mean Edelman isn't playing this week?

Gaffney is injured...at least he was as of last week

yeah stallworth is washed up

Would rather see Branch re-signed

I would doubt Edelman plays this week .... He looked like he was in another world after the Landry hit.

I'd rather use a Pony formation with Woodhead or Vereen split wide

wait...gaffney suspended?

he'd be my top pick from those three, stallworth is just as much washed up as branch at this point, if we need a WR, and gaffney is not available, sure do branch

cuz i dont know what donte has....if he still has something, go ahead

i would like one more WR

i think they would be better off with some UDFA over Stallworth i mean come on the guy has not done anything in the NFL since week 6 of the 2007 season

I think we heard it all around that Jabar and Branch are both injured, I think that's our answer.

Britt Davis is apparently still in play, according to Reiss.

He supposedly looked good in camp before getting hurt.

Branch will be back once the hammy heals up.

Riiight..... because Branch and Gaffney aren't washed up.

Ha ha ha....well said.... I think Stallworth has more left in the tank than the other two right now. Branch knows the system the best but is VERY slow at this point.....and getting even more injury prone. He had a bad hammy injury this time around from what I recall...

Have a ton of respect for Deion's career but he does look like hes at the end.

If BB thought he wasn't replaceable he wouldn't have kicked him to the curb.

I wouldn't mind Stallworth's washed up Speed on our Outsides if Edelman can't go. Like Drugs say :nono: to Deion Branch and Jabar Gaffney. I am so dissapointed in the way went about our WR situation. There was so many good young WR's taken last Draft and we didn't think none of them was good enough for our squad...i beg to differ.:mad:

Unless Stallworth has slowed considerably, I'd like the Patriots to bring him back. Defenses have to respect speed. His presence on the outside might, at least, open things up over the middle a bit.

His one trick pony route is about as useful as sending Slater as a WR on a deep Go route with his speed.

Oh, wait! At least Stalls doesn't attempt to catch the ball like he's a Kung Fu master issuing a blizzard of blows defending himself from a broken bees nest. My bad.
