You've got 10 days to the next game. . . .

The Patriots could definitely use your services. . . .

Amen! Time for a break from the MASH unit routine...

What's the typical window of time for a player to come back from a concussion?

Depends on how badly shook up he was.

He got his bell rung, and was listed as "questionable" to return.

It may have been a precaution, or it may be a problem. We'll know next week.

Well he's got 10 days

Didn't we hate this guy only two weeks ago?

In reAlity though I believe having another weapon is very good

A lot of guys don't make it back in a week, but Edelman has 10 days and I don't think he has a history of concussions. I think he'll be back next game.

The guy's had an awesome couple of weeks.

Just on STs there have been a long return for a TD, 2 other long returns, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery for a TD.

And what is it on offense? 2 long TDs, at least one other big play, and more?

Edelman is playing at a pro bowl level right now.......never thought I would say that.

I think all he needed was to remain healthy to improve his game,he has been pretty healthy and he has emerged as a true #4 receiver.

On Edelman's fumble return today Ebner was facing a double team and still couldn't be moved :D

I was an avowed hater of Edelman when I was thinking they were phasing out Welkah. Now that WW is getting his touches and we're not forcing it to Julie, I'm a little bummed that he's injured. Go figure...

And a snap or two at nickel LB last year

and kick-return-fumble-returner

Edelman is a real playmaker. Hope the injury isn't serious and he comes back soon.

In the postgame radio show this guy is making a big deal about Edelman taking it on the reverse. And saying that the Pats were trying to 'show up' the Jets with that play and that's why he got hit extra hard. Anyone buying this? I think he's talking just to talk.

No doubt JE is playing at a level that makes him a valuable contributor to the team (pro bowl though??). If this keeps up? BB's is owed some serious praise for his patience and forward looking vision with him. But is JE building up a history of not being able to stay on the field? Is my memory drowning in too much fermented holiday spirit...or did he have some issues with staying on the field last year too?

JE seems like a tough guy. If he can get the ok from the head doctors that his bell wasn't rung too hard, I'd be very surprised if he isn't on the field against the Phins. He just needs to learn to duck in certain situations.

Btw, an unmentioned but noteworthy moment was his after the catch move to shake the defender and take it in for 6.

Other than the line positions, is there anything he hasn't played?

I think we all know why they used that play. It's so McDaniels can call an end around playaction fake deep bomb in the playoffs:eek:

An interesting thing about pro sports fandom is how emotionally impulsive flapping of the lips can masquerade as thoughtful reasoning.
The above statement is an example of someone who has a dislike for BB and/or the Patriots, and they are unable to separate their dislike(emotions) from their ability to reason. Of course this assumes the guy is capable of reasoning -- a dubious assumption given his statement.
