would be done for the season if the jets lose this one. Pats playing a desperate team. Only disadvantage but we have the advantage in almost every other position as well as coach..lets get it done

The Jets are still a team that is a good walloping away from total collapse. Hell, there were people speculating that Keller drew a penalty on purpose to keep Tebow from being the one to get a TD. I doubt it but the fact that it seems plausible enough for knuckleheads to speculate is a pretty good indicator just how ****ed up their situation is.

Personally I hope that we come out and blitz at least 17 times again. Put pressure on Sanchez and he is horrible.

We've typically let him sit back and pick us apart and he's definitely good enough to do that against us. I don't want to see another 20/27 type performance out of him. I want to see 13/27, 2 INTs and a benching. :singing:

I prefer to be more cautious. Last time they played the Patriots defense had the distinction of being one of the few squads in the NFL to make Sanchez look like he belonged in the NFL.

Beyond that, my annual prediction that the Jets will remain tied with the Houston Oilers for AFC East titles looks like it will again come true.

Sanchez is a clear example of a QB who looks better than he is against our BBDB defense. Which is why I'm hoping for more pressure up front.

I expect the Patriots to win and this will put the nail in the coffin for the Jets......but let's not get ahead of ourselves. Jets played us VERY tight at home -- this one is in their house. The Jets/Rexy know the Patriots as well as any team. Patriots have some key injuries (key injuries that just happened -- meaning less time to work with alternatives and get adequately past them). This is a November division game against a team whose very 2012 lives depend on winning this game. I just don't know about this one.....

IMHO the big deal in this game is not Gronkowski especially if Hernandez is back. The big deal is Talib. Will he provide that solid play on one side of the defensive backfield, allowing a smaller field for other pass defenders to cover, and force Sanchez into throws he shouldn't throw? Or will Talib be another member of a porous secondary and Sanchez can put plenty of points on the board .........and the only chance of a Patriot victory is scoring 35? We shall see in less than 24 hours.....

I said in other threads I think the Pats win this one by 10; and while i firmly believe that - I also think it will only look that lopsided at the end when the scoreboard says 0:00.

Jesters as you/somebody else said are DESPERATE. I fully expect them to go for it on 4th down (less than 5) every time all the way from their own 40 (possibly tebow fakes) to the Pats side (openly going for it) as far as 20 and maybe even closer.

They will feel like they have to score TDs to keep up w/ TB.

Pats definitely need to come back to the run game and pound jesters a bit on their D.

The common thought appears to be BB is going to sit back on D due to Sanchizes 3 step drops and wait on sanchize to blow it up. But I think (or is it just hope? ;)) that he was playing possum in game 1 and not showing all he is going to do this time. So a few more stunts / blitzs particularly some of those Spikes run blitzes that effectively turned into pass blitz on the play actions were terribly effective (IMO) last week.

No way Sanchez has a repeat performence, NE wins comfortable.
