WTF......... no AP? no JJ Watt?

What has luck done to even be considered, 8 TDs in home games and ONLY 2 in road games this year, that makes it 10 TDs for a total of 9 INTs??????????

I am very glad that no one and i mean no one is picking Brady for MVP ...

What has luck done to be considered? Taken a 2-14 team....in a rebuilding year....and made them PO contenders? MVP means "most valuable player" as in....the player who is most valuable to his team. He has 5 rushing TDs in addition to his passing. Aside from Wayne and Brown he is playing with a bunch of young guys on offense.....in a new system...without their head coach.

He's had several comebacks already, including two long drives to win in OT in Tenn. He's been great on 3rd down conversions and he's done nothing but get better all year.

I don't think he sctually has a shot at MVP but asking what he's done to even be considered is silly.

Only reason Indy was 2-14 was terrible QB play, they were still a talented team. Curtis Painter just sucked REALLY bad. I hate when people say the Pats went 11-5 without Brady and the Colts went 2-14 without Manning (and now Luck) all that shows is that Cassel was much better than Painter.

You hate it because you're a Brady fan. The Fact is the Colts were 2-14 without Manning and the Pats 11-5 without Brady.

Cassel is a mediocre QB at best, but he had a D, a great offense, and he had a great coach. Caldwell had no business being an NFL head coach. Sucks that Mannings final two seasons as a Colt were under that knucklehead.

Most people who watch football realize that statistical excellence is required to be voted MVP. 79.1 QB rating puts him out of the discussion, convincingly. He's got a good shot at OROY, though.

They weren't in decline, they were coming off a 14-2 season. Did you watch the Colts in 2010? At one point the backfield was Javaris James, Mike Hart and Dom Rhodes, and Manning was throwing to Jacob Tamme, Brody Eldridge and the immortal Blair White. They still were a few points from having their usual 12 wins.

The Colts weren't anymore in decline in 2010 than the Pats were in 2002, 2005 or 2009. they had a down year. The arguments here kill me....the Colts were in decline......but except for not having a QB they were still a talented team in 2011?

As long as Manning plays at a high level, and he still is......... he just turned around the Broncos O, the Colts would have been contenders and would win 10-12 games.

Huh, Pats fans (and ESPN) are always going on about how QB ratings dont mean much. He has one of the highest QBR in the NFL.

And.....it's not the MIS award. It's MVP. If you want to just say the guy with the best stats wins change the name of he award.

And again, I said Luck doesn't have a shot at MVP, it will go to Manning, Brees or Rodgers. Personally I would give it to Brees, no D or head coach and they're still hanging around .500 and PO contention.

Belichick and McDaniels used Cassel to play to hig strengths, it's no coincidence that when Weiss went to KC as the OC for the year that Cassel was a probowler (he outplayed Manning that year) I'll give you that Caldwell sucked as a coach. If Orlovsky started from the beginning of the season instead of the end the Colts probably go 8-8, and Orlovsky isn't good either, that's how bad Painter is.

Cassel had a better passer rating, a better TD/INT ratio, and the same yards per completion, both fumbled twice, both had almost the same longest completion, only thing Peyton had on him was a higher completion percentage and threw it more.

I'm not saying Cassel is better than Manning, but arguably he had a better year in 2010, and Cassel isn't a garbage QB like Painter.
