I just browsed future schedules...

Yes, which makes this years loss all the more painful. It's going to be VERY tough the next couple seasons to even make the playoffs never mind win it all.

What? Are you suggesting the Pats aren't going to make the playoffs?

Thank you thank you, but flattery will get you nowhere I assure you. No matter how nicely you might speak of me, I'll never like your pats & that's final. As to your last statement? If you clicked on the link in my signature for The original Guarantee? You'd see where I was introduced as LA(Louisiana)Rams fan. So it's a play on words there Ace, & I am in fact a "LA" Rams fan. Where instead of referring to Los Angeles I'm referring to the abbreviation of my state. Clever huh?;) Ya well I didn't expect you to agree. But honestly there's always a few nimrods every few months, who mention it or try to make fun of me about my name.:p At which time I politely explain it, & get to enjoy the egg slowly rolling down their face.:D

Good Lord. Please give my eyes a rest and leave out all the color-coding.

And next time, I suggest you do you research first.

Here are the Sagarin strength of schedule ratings for the Pats in the past 6 seasons:

2006 - 4th toughest
2005 - 8th toughest
2004 - 7th toughest
2003 - 8th toughest
2002 - 4th toughest
2001 - 20th toughest

And before you continue with your "AFC East is easy" drivel, Sagarin's computerized division-by-division rankings:

AFC EAST:

2006 - 1st (of 8)
2005 - 7th
2004 - 1st
2003 - 2nd

2002 - 3rd
2001 - 2nd (of 6)

I blinded you w/ crayons, so you return the favor & blind me w/ STATS? OH WOW I think I'm going to FAINT I'm so impressed. SERIOUSLY!!! Look can we get some cold water in here please? I didn't know that I was going to have to go back to school just to state an opinion. And I can see by your thorough quoting of one singular source, that I can't hope to stand up to such daunting statistical reinforcement. Yes sireeee you have severely beaten down my inner child, & I'm in desperate need of a hug now let me assure you. I now crown you KING of all message boards, & hail you as a Living God on the internet.

And before you continue with your "AFC East is easy" drivel, Sagarin's computerized division-by-division rankings:

The AFC East is EASY.:yeahthat: :bricks:

TTTHHPPPPPPPTTTTTT!!! NAAHHH NAAHH NAA NAAAHH NAAHHHH!!!:p

So what do you think about that one Ace? You gonna tell the principal on me now? Ya so I think your division is EASY, & has been for yrs. I've actually gone so far as to connect the Bill's 4 straight SB runs, & the Dolphins undefeated season to a historically weak division. What do you think about those correlations there champ?:D Ohhhhh right where are the statistics you so desperately crave? Well I'll leave that to you since you've got a PHD in Bookworm, & that way you'll get all excited looking up more fun stuff OK? There ya happy now? As for me I'm going to go right ahead, & think of your AFC East the same way I think of my NFC West. I think they're WEAK divisions, and I'm going to right on ahead & say so. So what do you think of that Mr. Poopy pants? (And if you haven't seen the Naked Gun 2 you won't get the "Poopy pants" reference, so don't sweat it).

If the AFC East is easy, then all the other divisions are progressively easier, culminating in a pedestrian NFC West.

All you had to do was tell me to leave your psychedelic, eccentric self alone.

Fair enough. But it wouldn't have been as fun now would it?:D Don't say you didn't enjoy this, I know you were just itching to look up some yummy stats.:p But in retrospect all you had to tell me was that you'd like to see some statistics validating my opinions don't ya think? So I was simply following your lead cocheese.;) Oh & I do like the multisyllabic reverse psychology which makes your point in a all encompassing kinda way. Culminating by insulting my putrid division. You're not telling me anything I don't know, our division winner backed into the playoffs by losing the last 3 out of 4 games. So you're preaching to the choir here my good man.

Advice for you...

Go away.

A 49ers forum would appreciate your colors more.

OUCH. YUP you really got me w/ that one. It really stung. I really don't think I'll ever recover. Yup I'm going to have to dig a hole, & cover myself up in dirt.:(

Lets play 2007 first

Pats Road Games, 2007
Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Jets, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Dallas, N.Y. Giants

There doesn't yet seem to be an understanding that the original schedule posted is for the year after next. This is a funny thread.

Bad for the Pats, but good for me! I've already prepped my wife for the two road trips to Seattle and San Diego in 2008. The other two games are local :rocker:
(had to respond to myself since I can't edit original post)

And to add: The next time this happens? 2032, unless the NFL changes its scheduling.

Regards,
Chris

I know there is a formula now for scheduling but this is truly a "F you" to the Patriots.

I cannot think of a team that has made 4 trips to a coast in the regular season ever.

San Diego did it last yr

At New England
At NYJ
At Wash
At Phila
