The Riddler is doing very well so get well soon Bolden...Vereen should get some opportunities.

I'm wondering if Bolden hurt his ACL, would not be surprised if he gets IR'ed in a few weeks.

Fantastic news, particularly for Hernandez.

Hernandez missed yesterday for the birth of his daughter, not an injury. Ironically, another Hernandez was born on November 6th - #81 (Aaron). Father and daughter were born on the same day.

Congratulations to the proud parents. I wonder if becoming a new father is a medical condition under the new Massachusetts Marijuana law. I kid! I kid!

I was talking about his participation in practice altogether. Here's to his health!

Congratulations Aaron on the birth of your daughter Avielle Janelle Hernandez.

I will go out on a limb here and predict in 18 years she will be the first woman, college football player. In 20 years, she will be the first woman Heisperson trophy winner. 21 years from now she will be the first woman player to be drafted into the NFL and as a rookie she will exceed all expectations when she replaces an aging, but very serviceable Tom Brady.

Though wait, Tom has two sons already 5 and 3. Mmm..

Ok, I need Gronk to start making little Gronk-babies. I still have 7 more positions on our future offense to fill. ;)

First SignbabyNandez

Second I would not wish a Gronk baby on any mother as I hear Gronks are born six foot seven 270 lbs with a football in their hands.

Interested to see if McCourty plays safety this week and if he does I wonder if it improves the play of Chung and Gregory.

Their mother already had 5 Gronkowskis..

Worried about Bolden. Sunday I believe is 4 weeks since his injury and looks like he may not make it on the field. Obviously because of the RB depth we can afford an injury but I hope this doesn't keep up with him, couple weeks ago someone was telling me he had injury issues in college too.

yeah, he had injury issues that made him a UDFA, probably would have gone in the same range as Ridley if not injured

My daughter was born on my birthday.

Bolden is a good prospect, no doubt, but losing him for a few more weeks / being put on IR is hardly a tragedy. He's a tough runner and can be a solid 1-2 with Ridley for when we need to have our power running game, but he is also very indecisive at times and likes to bounce outside a lot. He'll have to find his holes no matter how small sooner or later.

With Vereen seeing an increase in playing time, I think a Ridley-Vereen duo would be more dynamic than Ridley-Bolden. If we lose Brandon for the year, so be it. He has a promising future.

So far, I think Bolden's shown to be a better runner than Vereen. The Buffalo game everything came so easy and it was hard to judge how good he really was but against Seattle he was outperforming Ridley, when he went down the run game suffered. I think Vereen has lots of potential and has been solid thus far though, but hasn't really wowed me anywhere or made that kind of difference yet. If Bolden can be healthy come playoff time it'd be a big help. If not, it I believe it will hurt somewhat unless Vereen progresses to the point where he lives up to his draft spot.

I'm just guessing here, but I think if Bolden tore his ACL he'd be IR'ed by now since ACL's don't heal on their own and typically need major surgery. I've been thinking he may have an MCL issue since MCL tears do heal on their own and often without the need for surgery. My other guess is a cartilage tear, which if minor, can also have a quicker recovery time than say an ACL. Pure speculation, but it seems the Pats think he has a chance to return this season.

There really is no need to rush Bolden back either. Just get him back healthy for December and on.

Looks like the bye week really helped us out. Hopefully we can maintain a relatively healthy squad from here on out.

Hey, my brother and his daughter were also born on the same day. The day before in fact... 11/5.
