I was thinking the same about someone whose team lost to AZ and Seattle.

Just think after the game on the 18th, besides being the QB of the Colts, Luck and Peyton will have something else in common, being tooled by the New England Patriots and Tom Brady!!!

The Seahawks are 5-4 and should be 4-5, but got a gift from the replacement refs. They've lost to the Rams, Lions and Cardinals.

How is 5-4 not mediocre?

If Dez Bryants fingers would have been a few inches to the south the cowboys would have beaten the Giants and the Giants would be 5-4 today, Are they mediocre in your book?... No place for if and buts my friend, Or PATS would have won 5 SBs in the past 10 years

Arizona and Seattle are above average teams. Let's look at some facts:

- The Pats three losses come on a combined 4 points.
- The Colts three losses come on a combined whopping 51 points.
- The Colts have a 5-3 record with a -32 point differential.

When the Colts lose they get blown out. When the Pats lose it's by tiny margins.

The Cardinals are 4-5 and have lost 5 straight games and have one of the worst offenses in the league. Seattle is mediocre and should be 4-5 too.

Are you really saying two teams hovering around .500 above average?

And the Pats are a better team than the Colts. We have a rookie QB and an interim coach and a young roster. This is a rebuilding year and were 5-3 and a great young QB, so I've got no complaints.

Brady is in his golden years and has the same record as the rebuilding Colts. For his sake the Pats secondary needs to step up.

There is a clear difference between those blown calls and one that was the last play of the game and directly resulted in a score that changed the lead.

The Giants are 6-3, have won 2SBs in recent years(you Pats fans probably heard about that right?).

Are you seriously comparing the Seahawks and Cardinals to the defending SB champs? Are you that desperate?

The Cardinals have lost 5 straight games and the Seahawks have lost to the Rams and Cardinals and Lions.

They did just beat the Vikings but the guy I responded to said the Vikings weren't a good team.

Who said the Colts aren't mediocre? They're 5-3 in a rebuilding year, with an interim coach though. And have 3 more wins than last season.

So I got no complaints. I figured they'd win between 6-8 games and that seems doable.

You really saying the 5-4* Seahawks are as good?

The panic and then the mania that happens here....often in the course of a few quarters is something to behold.

But if you are a little less defensive, you will see that the majority of the members here are pretty level headed. Please give us and chance so that we'll give you one.

Thanks. But I think you're being a little optimistic. This is the fan base that took great pleasure in calling 2007 an "FU" tour and never misses a chance to trash Manning, Dungy or the Colts.

Before this season there was a lot of talk here about this year being another "FU" tour for the Pats. That doesn't seem to be working out for the Pats though.

I know when Pats fans come to Indy (post 2001 mind you, before that I never heard a peep from Pats fans) they are they loudest and rudest NFL fans. Raider Fan back in the day might have been worse, but we hardly ever saw the Raiders.

And I'm not being defensive, I was just pointing out the Pats victories this season were against mediocre or bad teams except for Denver.

The exact same crap happens on most boards, including the old IndyStar board. You either already know this and are being a really lousy troll, or you're ignorant on the topic.

Neither is a particularly good thing for you.
