I'd be really surprised if Ballard made it back this year. But he is young could heal quickly.

If that was to happen I'd say Fells roster spot would be in serious jeopardy. Other than the one long catch he made a few games back he has been less then impressive.

Hybrids
Hernandez
Shancioe

True TE
Gronk
Ballard/Fells

FB
Hoomanawanui

As for Pryor I'd really like to see it. But he obviously had a serious injury its been over a year since he even practiced with the team.

I could see them cutting Brace he showed well in camp but proved once again that he can't sustain effort, performance, conditioning, or health.

Don't see Ballard coming back this year.

Pryor had a torn pectoral and based on other players with the same injury, it's a 4 month layoff inc rehab. Based on an article from 10/18, he has not been practicing so it doesn't look good. Who knows...

yeah totally agree on the Ballard thing.

Love and Wilfork are studs but that said we have 1.5 sacks combined from are DT's this season.

Love - 1.5
Wilfork, Brace, Deaderick - 0

So if Pryor isn't coming back should we take a look at bring Warren back or another free agent DT?

Seems to me that they are giving Pryor every opportunity to make a return to the lineup but if he can't, bringing in Gerard Warren is not out of the realm of possibility.

Maybe Zusevics could come off PUP. He had a torn pec as well (March?) and with the Pats losing Matt Tennant recently, a good young OL to start getting into the rotation would be welcome.

My understanding is that the kid hasn't practiced or played at all- even during the preseason. Seems like a bit of a long shot to contribute in 2012.

Seeing that Myron will probably play a total of 11 games in 3 years, I'm not exactly sure why we even keep him around.

Has shown impressive flashes of interior pressure we need.

We have movement!

* Sterling Moore released, Alex Silvestro Released

* LB Mike Rivera and CB Derrick Martin signed.

Or we could just cut Sterling Moore.

There were innumerably better players available at LB & DB than Rivera & Martin, who frankly suck.

We now have the worst & slowest set of backup LBs (White, Kouto, Tarp & Rivera) in football.
Not one of them will ever be a positive contributor on defense, just as Martin will never be a
positive contributor in the secondary.

On every given team in the NFL, who are the three backup LBs that run faster than 4.65, like the Pats have with Tarp, White, and Rivera?
