Does anyone agree?

Imagine if Peyton Chokes huge in this game and the Bears win.
He will have won nothing...not a damn thing.

Then next year they lose a bunch of players and it's back to the beginning.
They would have blown their best chance for HorseFace McGee to get a ring.

If the Bears beat them i would be thrilled. It would make everything better.
And it would mean Manning choked yet again, on the biggest of stages.

I don't know why everyone is acting like he already won the Superbowl

am i the only one that has a total indifference for the Super Bowl ?

honestly i don't care

of course personal opinion

I don't want either team to win. I respect Urlacher, but I don't think I respect a single other member of either organization.

so i am not the only one...

i am with you

I guess i Just hate the Colts a lot.

The 2 teams playing are the 2 sports teams that i hate the most.

And i wan't the Bears to win by a ton.

I guess that shows how much i hate the Colts and Manning.

I just hope the refs don't screw the Bears over.

Last year when the Colts lost to Pittsburgh, that made me feel a thousand times better about the Pats loss.

I'm not stressing about the SB,but I care who wins (if that makes any sense lol) because I loathe the Colts and everything they stand for,and that's been my sentiment even when we owned them. All that aside (cuz I've said it all many times already),I want to see the Dolts lose just to see Manning's face. I want to see them not only lose, but get pummeled. I want plenty of Polain shots too.
And afterward I want to read about all the new rules Polian will present to his Rules Committee.
I want to see the Colts cry when they take a look at their cap space, too.:D
But mostly I want the integrity of the game to flourish and prevail.

GO BEARS!

I concur. I really don't feel the Colt's deserve to be there. I want to believe that they do, but after the Hobbs mis-call and the Hayden no-call and the roughing the passer. I just don't feel like they deserve to win the Superbowl. Maybe as bad as the Patriots played in the second half they don't either. But I think the Bears deserve it the most.

*** also it's more likely the Bears would be one-hit-wonders,and I could envision them going crazy after a win leading to a tank next year. I can live with that!:singing:

I would expect every true Patriot fan to want the Colts to lose on Sunday, although that's apparently not the case from what I've read on this board. Colts losing is the only thing that would diminish the memory of the Pats embarrassing play in the second half of last Sunday's game. I also don't want to hear about Vinatieri being the "missing piece" or speculation about how long Peyton will play now that he has "won the big one"..blah...blah.

amen.

I'm tired of everyone acting like their season is over and they are champs or that they have actually won something. He still has one more game and if the Bears get pressure on him like they did on the Saints, Peyton is in some real trouble.

The only thing im worried about is Lovie doing a bad job coaching and letting manning sit back and pick the Bears apart.

Lovie is very arrogant and is the main reason they lost in the playoffs last year against carolina.

I worry about Grossman too. Wasn't he the one who was distracted because it was New Year's Eve? Holy Cannoli what's he going to do in the SB?

I think if they just blitz like crazy and get pressure with that line they should be ok.

I want to see 20 carries for Jones and 20 for Bensen.

I can't believe i actually have to see these 2 teams live, it is so depressing thinking about how close the pats were.

The Bears have to pull this off. It's simple, their best chance is running the crap out of the ball and pressuring manning..
If lovie screws this up though i would not be surprised.

I hope the Bears win to avoid the inevitable coronation of King Peyton. But whatever happens doesn't make things better. This week will be awful. Last week was OK after the initial shock, with the Senior Bowl, etc. This week . . .

You're not alone. Nothing changes the fact that the Pats didn't seal the deal and the Colts losing Sunday wouldn't make me feel better about it. I don't like the Colts but they won fair and square, and if they win the SB they have earned it.

I disagree.

Imagine how great you'll feel knowing Manning choked?
It would be way better than if the colts won

I don't even see how you could compare the 2.

it sucks we arent there and although i'm having trouble "moving on", we have to b/c they arent there.

the only thing left for us is hoping that manning chokes and blames it on his thumb.

You're right. I would laugh my ass off if the Colts lose.

That's killer. Let's hope the Bears can make it happen. I heard ESPN mention something about a segment on "Adam Vinitieri Coaching The Colts For The SB"-or words to that effect, but I wasn't able to continue watching to find out what that was all about. I assume it had to do with giving the Ponies some pointers about handling the hype, press, and maybe passing on some words of wisdom he picked up from BB/Brady along the way. God I hate the Colts, and Benedictieri too.

haha "Benedictieri" nice... i haven't heard that one yet. I like it.
I always went with Vinatiscumbag but it didn't quite have the same ring to it as yours.

I would feel that this season is almost a success if the Bears were up late in the game and Vinatiscumbag.. im sorry, Benedictieri... shanked a field goal and they lost.

I don't know if words can describe how much i would laugh and how happy i would be about this crappy season (no offense to the pats players)

If the Colts win, I agree that they will have deserved to do so. That said, I really hate them and really want them to lose. So much depends on whether Rex Grossman keeps trying to go deep when he has no right to do so.

hahhahahahahah:singing:

I think it would be pretty cool though if Rex threw 3 tds all on long balls to Berrian or Davis.

It's funny to watch them play, the guy has balls and just throws the ball as far as he can and prays that someone from the same team runs underneith it.
