Ruled out are:
Dowling, Bolden, White, Gregory, Chung, Scott, and Hernandez.

Probably means that Pats will, again, be playing with a short bench. Guys nursing injuries include Mankins and Connolly.

Guys like Dennard, Wilson, and Ebner are getting their baptism by fire. Other guys are going to need to step up. Guys like Tarpinian, Sterling Moore, Arrington (yeah right), Vereen, McDonald, Francis, Bequette, Edelman, and Brace.

No Safeties.

No Guards (?)

No problem.

Bradford's stat line in this game: 21/35 374 yds 2 TD's 1 INT

Pats win 42-24.

I pray there are no injuries in the secondary this game. I don't think Earthwind Moreland is available in an emergency.

But Edelman is. ;)

Oh yes! That would be interesting. I know Edelman has already played plenty at CB but didn't Troy Brown make his debut there against the Rams to save the Pats from the rash of injuries that had taken place? Perhaps #11 will step in and step up to save the Pats here years later.

Well, at least we are playing the normally offensively challenged Rams instead of the Saints or Green Bay. The bye week can't come fast enough, and we're just going to have to "dance with them that brung ya." Hopefully this is the week that the light goes on and we get some good blitzes or rushes on the QB, and/or our secondary turns their heads around when the ball comes their way. I wonder if Mickey D can help the defense with his knowledge of Bradford and his tendencies.

So Dowling is out? **** that man. Dude sees extended time in like 2 games and is hurt once again.

Dude really is Mr. Glass

Chung also keeping up his miss a few weeks a season pace.

Opens the door for the return of Ross Ventrone.

Actually my guess is Malcolm Williams gets promoted from the Practice Squad.

Ross Ventrone is on the Browns active roster, isn't he? Oh.. wait.. that's older brother, Ray.

I don't see Ross or Williams being added.

The player(s) who will need to step up is whoever is playing safety other than Wilson (presumably Moore and Ebner). This greatly reminds me of last year. McCourty, Dennard, and Arrington are still our corners. Cole is an OK dime back. Are we really going to miss Dowling?

I'm not worried about the offense at all. Thomas, Cannon and McDonald are all available at OG, even if Mankins and Connolly don't play much.
