what a spoiled fan base

yeah, this team is underwhelming my pre-season expectations, especially on offense...but i'll blame that on an evolving offense and some injuries.....the running game excites me, and we'll see where they are in december, when it matters

the defense is more or less what i knew it was......great LB's, stout against the run, super, super young and needing to gain experience....this is especially evident in the secondary, and i think a key injury to gregory is compounding that.....most of the errors we are seeing are due to bad reads/coverage breakdowns in the zone/combo coverage.......but that being said, they are making plays, they are putting the team in position to win, which is what i expected.....better than last year, young, improving, but still with flaws, mostly due to age/inexperience

but what a (collective, not all) bunch of whiners we are......16-0 was the worst thing to happen to this team

we are still watching one of the games all-time greats, some incredible young emerging talent (gronk, ahern, spikes, hightower, jones), are still the best run organization in the game, and, based on what we've seen, still in position to evolve into one of the games elite by december, when it counts

What about having the #1 offense in points scored and #1 offense in yards gained is not meeting your "pre-season expectations?"

Their red zone execution has been my only issue on offense.

Lack of creative blitzes on 3rd down on D.

These posts are always the worst after a loss or a close win. So, let me get this straight. The fanbase is "spoiled" because there is a large percentage of people who want to see this team improve above the point of a mediocre win against a bad team?

Pass defense has sucked for 5 years.

If Brady had huge windows to pass in like Sanchez, he would throw for 600 yards and Im not exaggerating. How can opposing WRs, TEs and RBs be so wide open? For struggling QBs about to get benched, the NE pass defense is a dream come true. Sanchez missed a wide open TE #87 on the 3rd down sack play post McCourty fumble that would have likely sealed the game.

Just be happy.

If the Pats dont make the postseason be happy.
If the Pats make the postseason and lose be happy.
If the Pats make it back to the Super Bowl and lose be happy.

Dont worry be happy.

Sucked since Samuel left...coincidence?

Look there are a good number of whiners here but I don't think today is the day to try and call people out. This team came dangerously close to blowing yet another double digit 4th quarter lead to a bad passing attack, this time at home. It's a trend with this group that needs to be addressed and it's been the cause of 95% of this teams losses since 2006 when they blew the huge lead against Indy.

The "whiners" are the people who think Brady had a bad game yesterday because he didnt throw for 500 yards and 4 TDs.

Thats just the ones that had him in Fantasy.

Another thread whining about fans?

Seriously, you guys need to get over it and just root for the team you love. It's already been established the fan base is full of spoiled near sighted doofs. Get the freak over it.

Gee...yet another sanctimonious thread lableling any fan who dares to voice a concern about anything as spoiled. Gotta love the subliminal "I'm a more educated/loyal fan than all of you" posts.

Whining about fans whining is being pure hypocritical, just S.T.F.U. and deal with it....fans have a right to be critical about things and have every right to express their opinion even if we all know Belichick could care less what we think.

Saying to trade Brady when he throws 2 picks in a game is indeed going overboard and should not be posted and kept inside your cranium, but to say the team in a win has not impressed is a valid point of view and that is exactly what transpired yesterday.

Sure, posts that claim "Brady sucks" and "Pats are never going to win another game" are very annoying. Some people do jump too far off the deep end, but EQUALLY annoying are people who are in denial about the Patriots having problems and feel the need to post how stupid the rest of us are.

Sure, the people who say Brady sucks are in their own fantasyland, but if you aren't rational enough to acknowledge that there is plenty of reason for concern (when they were THAT close to 3-4), then you are living there, too (just down the street a bit).

Agreed 100%. I can't wait for someone to point out that they started 5-3 last year prior to winning 10 in a row last year almost concluding that we shouldn't worry because it's pretty much a lock that we'll win the next ten in a row.

Alot of people will remember Samuel for letting the ball go through his hands in the 2007 SB. But in reality, he was an exceptional cover man here overall. I just hope that the NEXT time the Pats get an EXCEPTIONAL CB or two....that they pay them and KEEP them when the time comes for salary negotiation. If we have learned anything regarding positions that are the MOST critical on this team.....it is the secondary.

there's a fine line between voicing concerns and whining......and i should have pointed out is was referring to some folks here, but mostly on facebook and another site i frequent.....just so many 'belichek has lost his touch', 'brady isn't clutch', 'worst secondary of all-time' exaggerations it takes the fun out of even attempting to discuss it

this place has its moments, but is generally a respite from the nonsense.....sorry to be unclear

I gotta say it

It's amazing how many so called fans don't get the concept of what being a fan is and what these message boards are all about.
