me and my friend got two tix for the game we had about eight layers on
it was actually colder that day than it is today
but today i had to go to work and couldnt look like an a** with under armor and ski pants etc
well at least today reminded me of a great day in pats history

I had just returned to Massachusetts after 24 years in California and attended that Game against the Titans. It was the coldest Game that I ever attended with a Game against The Dolphins in the Mid 1970's a close second.
It was a great night for the Patriots with Adam sneaking the game winner over the crossbar and The Defense holding on in the end.
I remember taking my boots off in the car and having my feet burn all the way back to The Cape.I felt that the pain was taking one for the Team.

I remember driving all over the place that day looking for a ski mask and they were sold out most every place I stopped except for the last one. It was imperative to have your face covered to avoid frostbite.

I remember that game had one of Bethel Johnson's few shining moments with the long touchdown pass to go up 7-0.

I thought the same thing this morning.

It's 4 degrees right now here. It was 4 degrees that night three years ago.

I think it was 1 degree or 0 degrees at kickoff.

My wife and I were up in the 3rd level about 4 rows from the top. Had our winter hiking clothes on, including insulated boots and still about froze.

Depends on what the layers are. Right now I have only four layers tonight: sheetrock, studs, sheathing, and shingles. It's nice and toasty.

i just used my scarf as a mask
my breath froze to it (seriously there was a hard crispy blotch)
yeah, that bethel td was nice
me and my friend were last row and we could see the whole play break down

The DVD catches one of the Titans in front of the heater saying "I can't feel my feet,man-this is freakin me OUT!" lol
We need HFA next year.

How cold is it here? It's so cold I signed in as Seymour so I could post the Seymour thread. Some things just don't work the way they're intended...

That was the most memorable game I've been to. I had so many layers on I couldn't count. I also had one of those hoods that covered your whole face except for the eyes. For my eyes I wore a ski mask and kept everything on the whole game. The key part, though, was what I did for my hands. I went out and bought one of those hand warmers you strap around your waist, and I put about 20 of those little hand warmer bags in there and kept my hands in there most of the time. I didn't even use gloves, and I was super warm. Helluva game too.

You're not kidding. It was stupid cold that night. I had so many layers on I looked like Orson Wells after a 12 course meal. My wife and I were in the upper deck - it was brutal.

I had on the most layers of clothes on I ever wore. I wasn't really cold except my hands if I took my three pair of glovers off to do something like dial my frozen cell phone at halftime. Great experience.

i had my pats boxers (worn every game since 1997), long johns, sweatpants, jeans, ski pants, two pairs of long sox

under armour, pats turtleneck, pats sweatshirt, pats jersey, pats jacket

scarf, pats hat, gloves, pats gloves

thats what i wore, lol

oh and heat warmers of course

You are right it was almost exactly the same bitter cold. Same referee as last weekend, Bill Carrolo. Hilarious when they showed the crackling fireplace scene on the diamond vision stadium screen with Frank Sinatra's "Summer Wind" playing in the background.
